Glowing Activities of Medical Development Opened New page of Regenerative World in Thailand

The 2011 Thailand medical promotion kept on. On Mar 7th, 2011, by the invitation of surgery department of Kampangpet Provincial Hospital, Prof. Wang (the depute president of Beijing MEBO Institute for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers, the clinical director of China National Science & Technology Center for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers) arrived at the 1:30 pm in the meeting room to conduct academic exchange that started from 2:30pm and ended at 4:30pm. Totally, 27 doctors and nursed took part in. It mainly introduced the application of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in the treatment of burns, wounds and surface ulcers as well as typical cases’ analysis. All participants listened meticulously with ardent Q&A section. The main questions asked by doctors concerned on: 1. Can MEBO Wound Ointment be used on infectious wounds; 2. The nursing care key-points of burns; 3. Do you take the ploughing saw blade, could I see it? 4. If you ever performed any comparative studies between MEBO Wound Ointment and Silver Sulphadiazine. Prof. Wang replied with detailed explanation and answer. The academic exchange ended up with rapturous applause and consensus praise. At 7pm, in particular, Prof. Wang had a round-table discussion with three key doctors. The main topic referred to as followed: 1. The causative factor of Chinese burns patients; 2. The treatment of MEBO Wound Ointment in hypertrophic scarring and keloids; 3. The step-by-step procedures of micro-skin implantation and cultivation. For the Prof. Wang’ s solid theory of Regenerative Medicine and redundant clinical experience, the doctors gave superior evaluation and expressed strongest warmness to this medical technique. One of them has been using this technique for two years. The severest case he cured was a patient with TBSA up to 20 %. He held sufficient confidence to the clinical outcomes of burnt patients treated by Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. He is now trying to use this on the patient with large burn injuries and various kinds of ulcers. Meanwhile, he expressed dense interest in micro-skin implantation and cultivation and hoped that it could extensively be learn.    

On Mar 10th, Prof. Wang came to the surgery department of Cholburi Hospital that is the biggest on in Pattaya and has been using Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy (BRT) up to 9 years in burn treatment. There were 23 doctors, nurses and internships participated. There was a head nurse who had learned this technique in China in 2000 and has been using it in her clinical practice from that on. The academic exchange started at noon and ended at 1:30pm. The main contents during the presentation included the treatment of burns, the multi-disciplinary application of Burns Regenerative Medicine and therapy, especially the application in chronic ulcer treatment. Large amounts of factual cases were displayed in front of them. From the frequent exchange of their flaming eyesight, the strong co-sensation we could be inspected and perceived was the wonderful clinical outcomes of BRT in the treatment of various of burns, wounds and surface ulcers. During the Q&A session, one nurse asked how to prevent and control the scarring after the healing of deep burns. Prof. Wang said, it is unavoidable to the emerging of hypertrophic scar or keloid. But BRT can reduce the scaring extremely. And the perfect clinical outcome will be attained in combination with pressure therapy and preventive methods in scarring during the rehabilitative stage and subsequent 6 months. 

Several successful trainings concerning BRT totally trained 124 doctors and nurses, including 12 key-doctors. The first round of 2011 Thailand medical development came to a satisfactory end.
