The Response of Lecturing Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy Invented by Prof. Xu Rongxiang in Lebanon Vascular Surgery Annual Conference Was Extraordinary

The Lebanon Society of Vascular Surgery is an academic organization that has large influence in Mid-East, even Africa and represents the above normal level in the treatment of vascular disorders. The therapeutic range of vascular surgery refers to the treatment of angioma, angiostenosis, vascular embolism, vascular deformity, DM foot and ulcer and vascular ulcer. And the treatment of DM foot and ulcer and vascular ulcer is one of the toughest problems for health care providers in clinical practice. There is no good therapeutic means, except for the amputation. In order to introduce and bring in Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therpay invented by Prof. Xu Rongxiang to Lebanon vascular surgery experts, Prof. Chen Yongchong---assistant of Prof. XU Rongxiang, clinical director of China National Science & Technology Center for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers and vice president of Beijing Rongxiang Institute of Regenerative Medicine, gave the key-note lecture in Lebanon Vascular Surgery Conference, representing Prof. Xu Rongxiang by the invitation of Dr. Fady Baddad---the president of The Lebanon Society of Vascular Surgery. The lecture was greatly welcomed. And the Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy became the highlight in this conference.
At 8:30am, on Mar 6th, 2011, the session of key-note lectures hosted by Dr. Fady Baddad (the president of Lebanon Vascular Surgery Association, director of vascular surgery department of Beirut Hospital of US university) was begun after a short open ceremony. There were more than 60 vascular surgery experts who are directors, academic pacemakers and the senior experts in the field of vascular surgery from Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and Iraq attended in this annual conference. Prof. Chen’s lecture on Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy was scheduled in the second place. Prof. Chen Yongchong presenting Prof. Xu Rongxiang gave a brilliant lecture called ‘The Clinical Application Effect of Burns Regenerative Medicine in Treating Refractory Wounds’ in which the main contents include: 1. The general introduction concerning the foundation of Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy by Prof. Xu Rongxiang and the clinical treatment of large area burn injuries; 2. The definition and classification of refractory wounds; 3. The clinical therapeutic effect of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in treating refractory wounds and typical cases’ introduction; 4. Wound care principle and standard dressing-change procedures of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. Prof. Chen explained the invention of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy and the regenerative healing mechanism of burn wound in popular, succinct and understandable words; displayed the clinical therapeutic effects in the style of the combination of pictures and essay; expounded the wound care principle and dressing-change requirements of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in rigorous meticulous attitude to the participants. The lecture with regards to Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy deeply attracted the participant’s attention. Everyone listened carefully. In the Q&A section, the phenomenon of the meeting hall was extremely boiling with questions popping one after another. While the materials such as ‘Clinical Handbook’, ‘The Chinese Journal for Burns, Wounds and Surface Ulcers’, ‘The Wound Management and Dressing Change Procedures’ brought by Prof. Chen were so swiftly distributed as to make the session out of control for a while. Luckily, Dr. Fady Baddad skillfully guided by suggesting that it could make the consultation with Prof. Chen during lunchtime. Then, the session was able to be kept on, by which it can be perceivable that the interests and learning warmness in Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy from the participants were unusual. The lecture was warmly welcomed and the response was extraordinary.
At this time, Prof. Chen brought the new technique in Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy to the Lebanon experts that is no doubt that it was like infusing the fresh blood into the field of vascular surgery in Lebanon and surrounding countries. Besides, the introduction of this new technique brought the hope in the treatment of refractory wounds and to the decreased rate of amputation and deformity. After the lecture, they said, when they come back, they will apply Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy as soon as possible in the treatment of refractory wounds, such as DM ulcers, vascular ulcers and etc to help their clients realize the better rehabilitation. This lecture concerning Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy attained great outcomes to propagandize and popularize Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy as well as the training of clinical skills.
