Tissue and Organ Regenerative Restoration Sciences (Medical Technologies) Gets Clinical Practices in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Lianyungang City in China
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Lianyungang City was founded in 1984, focusing on traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine. It is the only national Third-senior general hospital on traditional Chinese medicine combined with medical treatment, education and research, diseases prevention and health care in Lianyungang region as well as the clinical teaching hospital of Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. There are 16 clinical sections, 12 paramedical units and 800 ward beds (600 beds already put in use) with an estimate 400 thousand outpatients annually and with 150 million annual business income. Since the introduction of Burns Regenerative Therapy on ulcers treatment in 1989, the hospital has cooperated with the Chinese Burns &Ulcer Science Technology Center and established the Lianyungang Science and Technology Medicine Center of Chinese Burns & Ulcers Science Technology Center, and in 2001 successfully hosted the continuing education project in Jiangsu Province --- the Seminar on Burns and Ulcers Moisture Therapy Technology Study in Jiangsu Province and was awarded with the Third Prize on Science and Technology Progress of the Third Chinese Burns & Ulcers Center Committee by the Chinese Burns & Ulcers Science Technology Center and the Chinese Association of the Integrity of Traditional and Western Medicine; awarded with the Third Prize on Introduction of New Medicine Technology by the Health Bureau of Lianyungang City of Jiangsu Province.
Since the establishment of the center, the hospital has treated an estimate of 1600 cases of kinds of burns and 700 cases of ulcers (abrasion, bedsores, vasculopathy ulcers, diabetic surface ulcers and gangrene) and successfully treated patients with complicated and refractory wounds even those who need amputation surgeries on their fingers or toes combined with infectious wounds and saved them with normal finger and toe functions. Further more the center has creatively applied the regenerative therapy and combined with the traditional Chinese medicated bath therapy on treating diabetic gangrene patients with very good clinical results of wound healing and physiological functions restoration. More important the hospital focuses on tissue organ regenerative medicine and therapy and combines with clinical burns and ulcers treating experience so in the treatment process the wound is kept moist and the wound fibrous isolation membrane is mainly protected so that the drainage of necrotic tissues is smooth and timely and the supply of MEBO ointment is maintained continuously in order to prevent any further injury. This therapy of non-surgical necrosis elimination successfully accelerates the natural regenerative restoration of wounds which is quite different from traditional therapy of wound drying and incrustation, eschar excision and skin grafting. It is a fire new medical technology. The followings are the clinical cases of regenerative medicine and therapy in the center:

Second:The patient with his family name of Ma gets diabetic mummification necrosis on big toe and second toe. While after had suggestion of amputation from other hospital, he was introduced to Dr. Lu Minkang and sincerely hoped to get the regenerative treatment
