Joint Sino-American Approval for Clinical Research of Regenerative Skin Medicine in situ

[Abstract] Chinese State Food and Drug Administration and the United States Food and Drug Administration have already simultaneously approved the Phase II clinical trials of MEBO as the specific drug for diabetic ulcers.

Nantong on May 27, (reporter Zeng Liming) : China's State Food and Drug Administration and the United States Food and Drug Administration have already simultaneously approved "in situ regeneration of the skin-specific drugs moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO in)"  as the specific drugs for diabetes ulcers for phase II clinical trial research. This reporter learned this information from the 12th Chinese Burns Wounds &Ulcers Conference and the First International Burns  Wounds & Ulcers Conference.

 

Known from the conference that the drug containing only plant ingredients is the first approved by the United States for clinical trials. The treatment for diabetic ulcers is a hard difficulty in the international medicine field. The lack of effective drug ingredients result most cases of amputation and even death. While the " skin regenerative technology in situ " can realize the regeneration of new tissues on the ulcers wounds and promote the skin healing. At the meeting Chinese burns wounds & ulcers experts showed 400 cases of the typical successful cases.
