Today China’s famous life scientist Professor Xu Rongxiang, M.D. who is often named “the controversial scientist,” published a “Declaration to Conquer Cancer.” Dr. Xu states, “We could conquer cancer through regulation of food nutrients! This is based on my experiments on cells and animals, as well as on preliminary clinical studies. I believe that cancer is caused by a short or over supply of nutrients to the body. Thus, in order to conquer cancer we need to start from the source of cancer: nutrient uptake.”

In his 2500-word declaration Dr. Xu states that currently there are many approaches in cancer research but so far none has generated satisfactory clinical outcome. “Today I publish my approach to cancer treatment and prevention by using a Total Nutrient Dietotherapy to eradicate cancer at its source. The theoretical basis is that epidemiological studies conducted by many cancer and nutriology research organizations indicate that the onset of cancer is related to a short or over supply of certain nutrients to the body. Our experiments demonstrate that cancer cells and normal cells require different conditions for survival; and such differences can be demonstrated by adjusting the dosages of nutrients. Certain nutrients required by normal cells can directly cause death of cancer cells, which has been validated by our experiments with cancer cells and animal studies, as well as by our preliminary clinical studies. Based on the epidemiological studies and our own experimental data, we conclude that cancer is indeed caused by a short or over supply of certain nutrients to the body. Thus, we are going to conduct a clinical study of a larger population to further validate this conclusion.”

In describing the distinct features of such “Xu’s Approach,” the Declaration states that the world’s cutting-edge research of cancer is done by making and modifying genetic materials of cancer cells or by using cancer cell models which are then used in cancer treatment studies to find methods and agents for inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. In contrast, Dr. Xu states, “ Our approach is to target native cancer cells and clinically relevant cancer models which are used in our research to find treatment modalities by using appropriate nutrients based on the experimental results therefrom. In the experiments we tried to recreate the normal growth environment of cancer cells that can then be eradicated by using the appropriate nutrients while keeping the normal cells from transforming into cancer cells.”

According to the plan outlined in the Declaration, Dr. Xu’s clinical studies of his Total Nutrient Dietotherapy will start with those late stage cancer patients who have given up medical treatment. Upon achievement of statistically significant efficacy for this group of late stage cancer patients, those late stage cancer patients who are still undergoing medical treatment will then be included in the studies. Upon achievement of statistically significant efficacy for this group of late stage cancer patients, mid-stage cancer patients will then be included in the studies. Upon achievement of statistically significant efficacy for this group of mid-stage cancer patients, early stage cancer patients will then be included in the studies. Upon achievement of statistically significant efficacy for this group of early stage cancer patients, all of data from these studies will be collected and used to support the clinical applicability of the Total Nutrient Dietotherapy. The Declaration further states, “If the clinical results are consistent, substantially or mainly consistent with those obtained in our experiments on cells and animals, then we could declare that cancer is caused by starvation of normal cells, and humans can resist the onset of cancer through Total Nutrient Dietotherapy. During any of the above trials, if statistically significant efficacy is not achieved, the trials will be halted. If, however, statistically significant efficacy is achieved, our Total Nutrient Dietotherapy will be used in the studies of cancer prevention. If cancer prevention in a large population is effective, we could then reach the ultimate conclusion that the onset of cancer in humans is caused by starvation of normal cells. If such a conclusion is not reached, we will go back to analyze the mechanisms of action of the therapy based on the trial results, and continue our research until we conquer cancer.”

As predicted in the Declaration, such clinical research would cost about 1 billion
RMB. MEBO International Group, which is owned by Dr. Xu, will do its best to provide a start-up fund, including a significant amount of the profit of the company in the future, for this research. Meanwhile, support from several international cancer foundations is also being sought.

Since Dr. Xu’s approach to conquering cancer is through a Total Nutrient Dietotherapy, the ongoing cancer treatment plan of a patient need not be changed or halted. In the Declaration, Dr. Xu urges all cancer patients to voluntarily join their clinical research by registering at the website of m.327512.com.
