MEBO’s forum was shortlisted for UN Sustainable Development Goals

Recently, MEBO Group and the China Scientists Forum held an academician forum themed on "Export Chinese Wisdom, Promote Sustainable Development" , which entered the finalist of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Action Award. MEBO's mission-oriented strategy and public welfare actions were recognized globally.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Action Awards are open to all organizations and individuals around the world. At present, MEBO has been selected among more than 2,000 projects from more than 100 countries into the finalist and will compete for the final prize with 356 candidates from around the world.

Taking this opportunity , MEBO Group distributed the“My World” questionnaire to collect ideas from all walks of life for the 17 goals of the UN Sustainable Development. The respondents age from 20 to 80 years old, including students, entrepreneurs and scientists.

As a mission-oriented company, MEBO Group is dedicated to the internationalization of social responsibility and is launching more actions to tell the audience that the participating in UN Sustainable Development Goals are not the privilege of western countries. Chinese people can also take an active role in realizing international goals and contribute to the sustainable development of the United Nations.

This event has greatly promoted the popularization of UN Sustainable Development Goals in China, especially among the community of scientists and attracted Chinese scholars to join the community of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
MEBO also calls on more Chinese companies, organizations and individuals to join the global community of the United Nations SDG.
During the selection process, the SDG Organizing Committee also provided a way for each candidate in the finalist to communicate and interact with global audiences through social media and other means. MEBO also took the opportunity to report its social security activities through videos and blogs.
