Human Steps into the World of Regenerative Life

As the self negation of Watson on gene therapy and the rise of Human Body Regenerative Restoration Science (HBRRS), great changes have taken place in the pattern of life science around the world. Throughout the history, the development of science and technology inevitably influences and impacts the revolution of economy, politics, related industry and agriculture, and life energy industry. In such a situation, Professor XU Rong-xiang, the founder of HBRRS, recently made an academic report (on April 13, 2013) under the title of “Historical Development and Prospect of Life Science” to prospectively analyze the development history of natural science, life science and medicine in a penetrating way and finally concluded the gene therapy theory coming to its end and HBRRS coming in and enjoying broad prospects, which is the reality of today's most cutting-edge science. The report made by Professor XU impressed the attendees a lot by its profound meaning, strategic views and humorous and easy-to-understand language. In order to benefit more scholars and professionals, we specially organized, edited and published it in the academic journal according to the report video to share with readers.
Good morning, Dear all:
The reason why I make the report today mainly is that the status of HBRRS system in the world, i.e. the global big family, has been changing tremendously, and the change relates to the changes of life, economics, society and even politics in the future of all human beings rather than only involves to a scientific achievement simply or the economic development of a company. We are the sponsor of the human tremendous change that will happen in the future, and thus we should firstly grasp and understand the background and future development of the human life science which will revolutionize the world.
What I say today actually is a science popularization education, a comprehensive knowledge education covering the history, present and future of the science. You everyone should know what the science is and everybody should have the power of understanding.
As you all know, on the planet we live, the development of every new science will inevitably bring about great changes to human life. So what are the changes following the next development? As I have already said before, humans will enter a new era of HBRRS system. That is to say, human will enter the era of human regenerative life, which is the theme of today’s report.
Today what I am going to talk are the same to everyone present and no matter whether you are professional or not, you all can understand it. After all what we are doing is a science popularization education of human regenerative life world. We have the obligation to understand it firstly since we are all in for human services. We are exploring in the road of scientific research and we are producing our products, which are visible and concrete. However, what our HBRRS can bring to human beings? I believe after you’ve figured out the question, fundamental changes will happen in the development of your future work, career and even your family life.
Today, under the title of the new era of human regenerative life, I make the science popularization education on what changes the future life science will bring about to human life. Now, let’s talk it from the following three parts.
I. Life Science in the Human Ancient Age: Savage Enlightenment

The fifth century BC is the time when the ancient human gradually evolved into the development era of life science from the state of living the life of a savage. However, at that time the main source of food is still the hunted animals and plants and also at that time the laws of food and life were concluded, which is the beginning of life science taking place tremendous changes. Even though at the time when the human diseases were caused by Nature and in turn Nature cured them, life science was still very active. In China, a cohort of medical scientists led by Bianque pioneeringly made use of the natural material to treat diseases and established diagnostics, while in the western, the development stepped into an era of scientific medicine from the ancient age of science. Gregor Mendel discovered the chromosomes and in 1907 the chromosomes was molecularized into deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA), which was the earliest time when human genetic material was determined. Unfortunately, until now, the idea of human beings treating diseases by making use of genetic material ended in nothing.
So what’s like the development of human life science in ancient time? The so-called ancient time of human life science refers to the period when the ancient Greek Hippokrates lived, that is, starting from the 5th century BC.
The time before the 5th century BC is the development era of human ancient life science, which was developed from the well-known ancient human life. So what’s like the ancient people life? Human beings maintain their lives by catching fishes and rabbits and eating animal meat, and then they found some plants and tried to eat to make sure they are edible and gradually they found more edible food from the beginning dozens of types to later hundreds of ones; moreover, they found that after they ate plant food they can eat less animal meat, which is the origin of laws of food and life. With the evolution of people's thoughts, they doubted that some sick people died while others lived on well, but they had no idea what the reasons were. However, that was just the time when the theories about heaven god and earth god came into being, which was the period of ancient witchcraft. As for how could this be, it is quite simple to understand: they were innocent; and so medicine in ancient time was mainly the witchcraft. But why was that? This is a probability problem. For example, there are ten people with the same disease, but they can't all die consequently. Once the witchcraft was performed and by chance someone survived, it was reported the witchcraft saved him without reporting anything about the dead cases. This kind of witchcraft lasted for nearly ten thousands of years.
People later produced a sense of natural science when they found that they can still survive after eating some plants as they were sick, which marks that human stepped into the development period of human life science in the posterior ancient time (i.e. the period during which the witchcraft fought against the Nature), and the establishments of China’s earliest traditional Chinese medicine and the western medicine in the western world are the outcome of the fight. Originally, the ancient people used diamond to treat diseases. They thought mirroring the disease on the diamond and the disease can be cured, which is a progress from a stage of treating diseases with a virtual witchcraft to a stage of material therapy. But the disease being cured is by chance and attributed to a coincidence. Later, the natural organic material was found to be effective to treat diseases and it took the place of diamonds, which is the science of the ancient world.
The 5th century BC is a period when the life science took place great changes, of which the essence was that the human diseases resulting from Nature can be cured by Nature. At this time, life science was very active and vibrant. In China, a cohort of medical scientists led by Bianque pioneeringly used natural material to treat disease and later based on the treatment course, they established diagnostics. This was the situation in China, while in the west the medical development was much faster. Thus, human entered into an era of scientific medicine from the ancient stage of science.
The era of scientific medicine includes many parts including the use of natural substances in therapeutics and the means used in diagnostics. Human body was classified and categorized in accordance with the functions of different body parts. The era was represented by Hippocrates who was the father of modern life science and modern life science or modern medicine begun from that time. But the blueprint of life science planned out in that time has yet not to be completed. That is to say, from the ancient time to the present modern era of medicine for more than 2500 years, human studies of medicine has been confined to that category until to the birth of HBRRS.
The development history of human life science is actually very simple. That is, human, under the medical system and categories developed by Hippocrates, gradually invented anatomy and then discovered the bacteria, and further studied to attack bacteria and consequently antibiotics were invented. Human body as a whole was divided into several systems including fluid system and etc. and blood system in fact was first put forward by Hippocrates. Henceforth, a number of scientists focus on different systems emerged.
With the inventions of telescope and microscope, human has the ability to know the outline of the body internal organs and also cells were observed. And thus cytobiology was born. From cytology itself to now, the medical science hasn’t yet jumped out of the scope defined by Hippocrates. So what has been developing the science in those years? From the perspective of therapeutics, in addition to the more modern and more accurate technologies for diagnosis, the science materially experienced the use of natural substance treating diseases 2500 years ago, abstract substance treating diseases just like refining gold from stones in the Renaissance to form compounds, and consequently the appearance of chemistry and biochemistry. Since then human entered into the chemical era of treating diseases. However, both in the chemical era and the previous ancient times, the treatments all targeted at the diseases themselves and the situation lasts until now.
From the beginning of modern medicine 2500 years ago to now, there is no real breakthrough in treating the organ diseases. For example, to remove an acute gastroenteritis, can modern medicine cure it? Although modern medicine has developed so strongly, there is still no any technology curing the organ diseases of human body. Even the recovered disease is not cures by the medicine itself and some diseases can heal by themselves without any medical management, for instance a cold which can heal by the immunity of your own body, and so does the flu, and there is no data which can prove that modern medicine can cure it. Nowadays, avian flu is popular, which is a kind of flu virus carried by poultry and is regarded as a new variant of avian viruses. No one knows how many variants human beings have contacted with the viruses!
The methods of human against these diseases are more advanced than the original in that originally it is the body's own natural immunity which now can be replaced by artificial immunity to prevent diseases. But what’s the evaluation of the artificial immunity? Someone says it is effective, but it may be harmful in the long run. Temporarily, it can indeed save some people but the evaluation of it is just the same as that of antibiotics. Human found bacteria can cause diseases and tried hard to find a way to kill bacteria (which is the reason why antibiotics coming into birth). However, now someone once evaluated that the greatest flaw of human is the invention of antibiotics in that though antibiotics can temporarily save people it finally kill people. To this, we don't want to judge since human has to figure out ways of survival among struggles. The innate immunity of human body is different from the artificial immunity and the immune genetic material discovered by Gregor Mendel, which is obtained from the practice of mankind history. China has a long history of medical record but from the ancient times to the modern time when the whole medicine develops to today’s stage, though many methods appeared, there is no any real method of treating the human organ diseases radically.
In the lentils hybridization studies, Mendel discovered a substance in biological cells and called it chromosomes, so what is the chromosome? It decides the life of an organism. However, the published article of Mendel was not be found until 40 years later when three professors were studying the relations between organism and the genetic material, they obtained the same result as that of Mendel. At that time, scientists were more sincere and didn’t pass off or plagiarize Mendel’ discovery. When they found Mendel’s paper in the storage of the library that published in the school journal, they compared it with theirs and found that they were totally the same. After published the scientific achievements, it was proved that the father of genetics was Mendel rather than the professors of Brockport. Since 1907, people begun to chemicalize or molecularize the chromosome and in this way ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) came into being.
The year of 1907, please remember the time which is the earliest time when human genetic material was determined. Since then people would like to further explore the mysteries of human life from the chemical perspective; Secondly, after finishing the chemical-perspective study, they wanted to cure diseases by genetic materials. Nearly half a century has passed, however, the dream of human exploring genetic material to treat the disease comes to an end, and no achievement has been obtained.
Part 2 The Development and Stagnation of Modern Medical Science: Doom of Gene Therapy

Since the discovery of three dimensional structure of genetic material by modern medical scientists as well as the development of electron microscopic technology, eventually three scientists, i.e. Watson, Crick and Wilkins jointly found the dimensional structure of genetic materials and therefore were honored as “the father of modern genetics”. They are considered the greatest life scientists in 20th century; genetic molecular biology is taken as the greatest science. From 1953 till now, there have been a total of 47 Nobel Prize awards granted in terms of genetic molecular biology. Nobel Prize has been a mixed success flicking with philistinism in science community. The inane news-making speculation of scientific concepts like transient embryonic stem cells and iPSCs are lies. Recently, after half a century, Watson “the father of modern genetics” revealed the truth. The self negation of Watson in genetic therapy research indicates the age of modern medical science, the scientific system established by Hippocrates has not terminated yet; human organ diseases are remaining unsolved today. As early as 2002, Prof. Rongxiang Xu, the Chinese life scientist had pointed out the highly agreed human genome spectrum was actually severely flawed in scientific aspect.
In 1953, European and American scientists discovered the three-dimensional structure of genetic material. With the development of modern electron microscopic technology, people can take more and more delicate observations, and eventually three scientists including Watson and Crick jointly found the dimensional structure of genetic materials. They are called as the father of modern genetics because genetic material is the expression close to life properties and information of humans. They should actually not be called as the father of modern genetics strictly since it was not them who first found the structure, but they outlines the possibilities for an understanding in its finest details of the molecular configuration. Now two of those three scientists have died and Watson is the only one still alive. Watson, who has been attracting much public attention on the internet, is the greatest life scientist in the twentieth century. The greatest science is genetic molecular biology.
The initial stage of cell life genetic study began from genetic chromosome studies to chemical identification of genetic material in 1907. The study diverged into two trends afterwards: one is to study continuously on human cell genetic material, i.e. chemical property of RNA; the other is to guarantee human health by changing such chemical property, strictly speaking to treat diseases. But there has been no progress after half a century.
Since the three-dimensional DNA structure is introduced into life, Watson mentioned in his statement that here came another dream when people knew the real structure and life activity of human genetic material. Is it possible to cure diseases by changing its structure? He began to decode and analyzed the double helix structure of DNA gradually. It was just like getting to know a building. You have to destruct it into powders and investigate what the concrete is made of before you can get any secrets out of it. That was what Watson thought then. He attempted to find the key to human diseases by this way. Therefore, the discovery and decoding of double helix structure of DNA by Watson in 1953 is considered as a turning point in life science. What is this new turning point about? It’s cutting-edge study on life science. What is the cutting-edge study about? It is to resolve the uncovered problems left by conventional medicine. The motive and goal are the same: to cure organ diseases intractable by modern medicine. Their slogan is to cure medically incurable diseases. In fact, human organ diseases is the major problem, which is quite clear based on our study of the four paths of cell in tissues and organs going to death: fibrosis, mutation, disease and apoptosis. And that should be seen as another boundary, after which the modern medicine should be divided from 1953 if it can cure human organ diseases. That means conventional modern medicine began and medical science was over. However, the study on genetic molecular biology has no progress till now as Watson himself confessed on March 21, 2013 that sequencing genes isn't proving to be particularly useful in fighting such diseases as cancer and that much of the research being done on the subject is irrelevant. It is just more respectable for a man like him to realize that than his fame as a Nobel Prize winner. As the matter of fact, it is undoubtedly that any method of changing genes would generate a new species since gene is the locating marker of human life property based on the analysis of basic scientific principle. Like virus, when the flu virus changes, it will change into a new species. And using the new species to fight against the former one will cause a new circulation of a microorganism affected disease. This unreliable route is the parochial part of the ideology of western medicine of the time.
I never feel too confident to say it is not Rongxiang Xu who is great, but the scientific principle and the world outlook we use to investigate every scientific event is right.
From 2001 to 2002, I have been releasing my claims when the genome trend prevailed wildly. Some crazy story even reported people could foretell their potential risk of car accident by human genome sequencing. It was so ridiculous when you think about it: a car accident can never be caused by the driver but others; otherwise, the driver will be a psycho. It is such a shame for humans to still hold enthusiasm in their deviant “civilization” like this. That is when I had to make a voice (cited from the report by WENWEIPO: August 17th of 2002, Great Defects in Human Genome [Peng Lei, reports from Beijing News Center on 16th] Prof. Xu Rongxiang, life scientist from China, pointed out today that great defects remain in the human genome scientifically. He said that human genome is very important with regard to the research of genetics and the genome is authentic. However, the genome declared by them features washing off the genes from DNA structure using chemical elements, which makes nucleobases generate moving curve lines under the influence of capacitance technology, serving as a sequencing means of genetic materials by means of capacitance technology. But, it is not an authentic sequence pattern in human body. Mr. Xu Rongxiang simplified obscure scientific terms into a vivid analogy: It is just like apples on a tree. Each apple has its own position on the tree. However, when people take them off and arrange them on the ground, they couldn’t match the exact branch from which every single apple comes from. Mr. Xu said, “Great defects in human genome feature the totally unauthentic structure result.”
Gene sequencing is to wash off genes with an enzyme and then arrange them in orders. It is the same as the fingerprint spectrum, each wavelength representing one material. The base-pair material of RNA is various among individuals and therefore gene sequencing is regarded as the sealed book of human life. I said the theory was highly defected then; now it seems to me even a pseudoscience. Actually, the term “pseudoscience” is not proposed by me, but those who made up false sciences. As is known, Watson is not only a great life scientist, but the first leader of human genome group, and more importantly the Nobel Prize winner.
Since 1953, a total of 47 Nobel Prize awards have been granted in terms of genetic molecular biology. Nobel Prize is great to us, but why? Because people have been sensationalizing relevant studies around it and it was raised up to a climax eventually. In fact, they are telling a lie, and now the truth has been uncovered half a century. It was just when I was going to reveal the truth by suing Nobel Prize Assembly the father of genetics told the truth ahead of us. Certainly, not all of the 47 prizes are false, and some of them highlighted the progress made in physiological studies. After all, what a power it is to push human life science i.e. modern medicine to the top, and name it as cutting-edge study of life science.
At the end of 20th century when people realized they could not make any progress on genetic study, they transferred their focus to embryonic stem cell study. The concept of human development began to be proposed for study. They speculated since egg-sperm binding can develop a human body, separating a cell from the early-stage embryo can generate a new human body, and cells separated at a later stage could possibly develop into arms or legs. That is the ideology of embryonic stem cells. What is an embryo? It is the zygote formed by egg-sperm binding. The study was then taken around this system. However, the human development is a natural potential of humans since their appearance on earth. Scientists played a tricky game by polishing it with more sophisticated names such as totipotent stem cells, pluripotent stem cells, etc. That is how the concept and ideology of stem cells popped out. Nevertheless, humans have been passing on generation by generation smoothly before the stem cell concept. Now scientists intentionally go around the egg and sperm of totipotent potential to develop into a human, and instead contribute the totipotential to embryonic stem cells and pluripotent cells. The entire world has been crazy about those new concepts. Stem cells has become the equivalent term of high-tech. As a matter of fact, it is just the name that was changed. The new name originated from the discovery of cells in haemopoietic system, where hemapoietic cells was found able to turn into red blood cells and some other types of cells from primitive stem cell status. Since then, this concept was adopted in the study on embryonic development by Americans. They were listed at the first of top ten major news published by Science in 1998 when our study results were released simultaneously. Because they were made up by scientists, our in situ stem cell study has been referred by the public ever since. As we claimed before, their concept was whimsical, for cultivating natural cells in vitro was impossible and human cells would change in their property when separated from the body, which has been a conclusion by our study in our attempt to identify Keratin type 19 stem cells on human wound. During our study, we made no progress in our finding of K-19 within five years when two grades of PhD graduations involved were accomplished. I told Peking Union Medical College, our collaborating research center that their modern method of identification seemed not helpful and I was going to try my “receipt”. After that, I went to Nashi Affiliated Hospital of Henan University with Prof. Zenglu Xu, key member of my team, where we took the biopsy from the skin wound, preserved the sample with liquid Nitrogen container and directly returned to our lab for cytological examination without further cultivating the sample cells so as to avoid any unexpected change during the cultivation. Consequently, we found the K-19 stem cells in it. Since then, we could follow and observe the behavior of the K-19 stem cells in vitro.
The study of embryonic stem cells, even though there is no ethical issue, can achieve nothing. In the published paper last year by Shinya Yamanaka who won the Nobel Prize cited our saying that human can’t cultivate natural pluripotent stem cells, that is, embryonic stem cells is not pluripotent stem cells, but he didn’t tell the public he cited our saying. As said by XU Rong-xiang in 2002 any cultivated cells are man-made ones. He keeps his eyes on my studies and says what I say without mentioning me. His iPS cells are the analog of pluripotent stem cells rather than pluripotent stem cells. By saying this, I would like to point out there are two cutting-edge technologies, one is the genetic molecular biology and the other is embryonic stem cells. Those reproductive cloning researches are the derivatives, and those so-called scientists make use of cloning technology in order to obtain stem cells. Cloning actually is to change the nucleus of an egg, i.e., actually, the transfer of genetic material. So what are the outcomes of reproductive cloning? Of course, it is of no value.
In 2007, the father of cloning technology gave up his technology while the studies of embryonic stem cell have not yet stopped. But there exists a very serious ethical problem of embryonic stem cells in that a real embryonic stem cell has to be obtained from an organism, that is, to save someone by killing someone else in terms of ethics. What is the concept of being a human? An egg and a sperm combine together to develop into an embryo which develops and matures in the womb of its female parent. Any behavior that damages the embryo is one of murdering.
It has been proved by facts that the means of saving diseases by killing life are unacceptable, which not only involves the ethnical issue but is impossible from the perspective of science. Up to now, all the so-called test-tube babies are fake ones since they are only inoculated in tubes and they aren’t cultivated in tubes. The day before yesterday, the father of test-tube baby died, which marks the end of test-tube history.
The naming of test-tube baby is more counterfeited than that of iPS cells because a baby can’t be cultivated inside a test tube. So-called test-tube baby to be specific should refer to the pre-embryonic period of a baby and be named in vitro inoculation embryo. But the whole world calls it test-tube baby. If someone is able to cultivate a baby in vitro, he would be prosecuted, just like our case of prosecuting the Nobel committee.
With the self denial of Watson on gene therapy, human history becomes pretty clear. Of course from the point of view of scientific exploration, the previous studies on gene therapy are of value since in the invention and discovery process of human, exploration is inevitable and necessary. However, when the exploration has been proved to be of no real searching value, continuous hype is abnormal. All the hypes and studies on the genetic molecular biology are based on Watson’s theory. Though some people developed his theory, as Watson has denied his theory, the followed studies have no meanings at all. Thus, we say Watson’s self-denial is the end of the human cutting-edge life science of genetic molecular biology. What does the end symbolize? It symbolizes the period from the age of ancient Greece Hippocrates two thousand five hundred years ago to now is still the era of modern medical science. The medical problems that should be solved by cutting-edge life science remain unsolved, that is to say, the human medicine as the mainstream of human life science still remain in the era of traditional era, i.e. making use of natural or chemical substance to attack diseases, while no achievement has been realized for human life itself.
Today, there is no radical and thorough denial of gene therapy study of all kinds. There are still some scientists upholding it and how misleading they are! However, the following days will witness the gradual elimination of the influences of the human cutting-edge science lasting for about half a century.
Medical science up to now has not made any progress. Genetic molecular biology as a mainstream and embryonic stem cells are only a sideshow of human medical science. We hope that human diseases can be cured in the era of medical science during which surgery progressed rapidly from radical surgery to minimally invasive treatment, in combination with some modern technologies. But minimally invasive surgery is the same as the surgical operation in mechanism in that both are to remove the abnormal tissue away using surgical methods. The “progress” of the modern scientific technology is in the price of losing tissues for life. Generally, in such case, a natural substance and a surgical technique are involved. In the future, it will be impossible for the government to fund you to do such meaningless work and of course, the current situation may have to last for quite a long time.
As we all know, whether a science is successful or not depends on its scientific outcomes. However, for a half a century, there are so many academicians who are reviewed by or through hyping concepts, signing name to support research projects without meanings, publishing papers with no actual research results in scientific journals with high impact factor, and to the end, they engaged science produced nothing. How would their grandchildren, great-grandchildren think of them? Maybe, they would be called liar.
Therefore, what spirit should we adhere to? From the ancient times to the modern era of life science, the scientific system of Hippocrates has no come to an end and it is making progresses with the development of history of some progress, but it can still not solve the problem of human organ diseases. That is to say, human disease can only be treated symptomatically without being treated radically. Some big pharmaceutical factories and hospitals are actually performing the symptomatic treatments, which, of course, is of importance. For example, a critically ill patient with coronary heart disease, after receiving surgical treatment to dredge the blood vessels, he can survive for a longer time, but the coronary heart disease itself has not been cured. From a scientific point of view, how to eradicate a disease is a problem medicine should solve.
3. New Era of Human Body Regenerative Restoration Science: The Promising Future

The human body regenerative restoration science established by Professor RongXiang Xu is a totally new branch of science studying the body's innate regenerative potential of human body cells and regenerative nutrients. It is a comprehensive new system in life science which utilizes human body regenerative potentiality and exogenous regenerative nutrients to achieve regenerative restoration of tissues and organs in situ for acquired defects, premature aging, mutation, severe diseases and premature apoptosis of the human body. Its core scientific technique is the In Situ Human Body Regenerative Nutrient Cultivation Technology involving “transforming somatic cells into stem cells and then in situ regeneratively restoring tissues and organs”.
The rise of body regenerative restoration science will bring four human revolutions and human will enjoy a totally new scientific system of health protection: human life science revolution, agricultural revolution; food industrial revolution and human life energy revolution. This is a big change for the world as it has entered a new era --- the world of human life regeneration.
What is the future of medicine? The future of medicine looks towards the medical use of drugs and surgery to treat diseases. As Watson said he still believed in searching for the fundamental of treating diseases on good chemistry, which we agree with rather than deny. Natural substances and chemicals have been aimed at treating diseases, which has been proved effective by 2500 year practice, but they can not remove the diseases radically, what they do is only to reduce the sufferings of patients, which is true and undeniable. There is also a bad conclusion that western medical treatment using chemical drugs is concluded as harm overweighting benefit. From a long-term point of view, the safety issue of chemical drugs to mankind is one of the biggest risks. Some large pharmaceutical factories do not dare to research and develop new chemical drugs. If safety problems occur, the factories may become bankrupt, resulting in stagnant research on chemical drugs. But in accordance with the law, not all chemical drugs are harmful. That is, if the study is performed accurately, people will not be harmed. Of course, this is beyond our ability, which, after all, is out of what we are studying.
What is the future of medicine? There will be two directions, one is carrying out physiological-based research further with the purpose of using physiological research to cure diseases. We say this not based on speculations but based on logical analysis as it is only when we approach close to physiology, can we reduce the toxicity as minimal as possible. Under the physiological premise, we can treat diseases with minimum toxicity. The long-time practice of 2500 years has confirmed that chemical medicine is effective against diseases, which is unalterable and acceptable. This is one of the directions of future medicine.
The other direction of future medicine is Human Life Science which has formed! Human Body Regenerative Restoration Science is the science assuring the safety and extending human longevity.
