The First Oversea Wound Care Center Based on Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy Established in Manila

After clinicians in Philippine had treated and cured various refractory burns, wounds and ulcers by the way of Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy for more than one year, they had full confidence to the extraordinary clinical efficacy of Burn Regenerative Medicine in the management of burns, wounds and ulcers. In order to help more Philippine people share with this great therapy, ReMed ( Regenerative Medicine) Wound Care Center which headed by Dr. Genuino Glemm (the President of Philippine Burn and Plastic Surgery Association), with the initiation and organization by Acuherb (the partner of MEBO International Group in Philippine), was established in Manila Medical Plaza on Jul 7 2010. ReMed Wound Care Center covers about 80 square meters with 4 consultation rooms, one observation ward and 1 treatment room and medical care and services provided by 8 burn surgeons mastering Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. This center is the first wound care center based on Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy set up out of P.R China.

According to the native tradition, a priest was particularly invited to host the launching ceremonial on the day of open-up. The priest said, ‘Pray and hope the ReMed Wound Care Center could go well, provide great service to more patient with burns, wounds and ulcers and bring more benefits and harmony to the people and the world.’ A few local famous burn and plastic surgeons were invited to attend the launching ceremonial. Prof. Chen, the assistant of Prof. Xu Rongxiang (the founder of Regenerative Medicine and Therapy), the vice-president of Beijing Rongxiang Institution of Regenerative Medicine and Xu Chong, the district manager of Philippine were also invited to present the launching ceremonial. First of all, Prof. Chen offered congratulation for the setup and launching of ReMed Wound Care Center in the name of Prof. Xu Rongxiang. Then, Xu Chong congratulated representing Ms. Sun Xia（the president of MEBO International Business Dept） and Shantou MEBO Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd!

The launching ceremonial was moving well in a solemn, warm and harmonious phenomenon. Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy became the hot topic by the participants in launching ceremonial which seemed as a communicative meeting of Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. Prof. Chen introduced the successful experience of Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in P.R China and the key points in the management of refractory wounds and scars. Meanwhile, he illustrated the status of Burn Regenerative Medicine and Therapy participating in the 15th meeting of International Societies of Burn Injuries and its academic position and superior level around the world. In the end, all participants hold full confidence and expectancy to the future development of ReMed Wound Care Center.
