The Worshiping Story of Popular Regenerative Medicine
---report of the MAPACS annual general meeting 2011
From March 25th to 27th of 2011, the MAPACS annual general meeting 2011 hosted by Malaysian Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Craniomaxillofacial Surgeon (MAPACS) was held in Holiday Inn Hotel of Malacca. The MAPACS is a national scientific and academic organization. The current 45 committee members are distributed in 13 states of the nation, most of which are the local leading figures in the fields of burns and plastic surgery. The meeting included 35 members and around 10 medical surgeons and nursing staffs in those fields from the society.
Invited by the Society Chairman Dr. Lay-Hooi Lim and the conference committee, Prof. Chen Yong-chong, the director of the Clinical Department of China National Science and Technology Center of Burns Wounds and Ulcers attended the meeting and delivered a featured speech titled as “The Clinical Application of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in Malaysia and Other Countries”. Prof. Chen demonstrated the progress of the clinical application of Regenerative Medicine and technique in China and other counties worldwide, especially in recent two years when hospitals of Malaysia brought in the technique and made amazing results. The speech was highly affirmed by the audiences who not only got a comprehensive overview of Regenerative Medicine but consolidated their confidence in its clinical application.
As a national academic event, the meeting also embraced world-renowned enterprises on medical devices, wound medical materials and drugs from European Countries, USA and Asia for exhibition. As expected, MEBO Regenerative Medicine and products booth is among the most popular stands by visitors, who came to visit and inquire about the Regenerative Medicine and technique, attaining remarkable results of popularization, as was shown in following photos of the meeting scene:
