First Medical Marketing of MEBO in Mongolia
From June 24th to 29th, Mr. Wu from Technical Department of MEBO came to Mongolia under the thoughtful preparation of MEBO International Group and Monos, the largest pharmaceutical company of Mongolia in order to start the first medical marketing. Mongolian markets are newly developed in 2011. And, this is the first comprehensive medical development after two previous visits, including commercial visits and medical conferences. Five local key hospitals received training and took part in communications. Altogether, there held five training classes about MEBT/MEBO, one conference about regeneration medicine, three consultations and one training class for director of diabetes center. There were 109 people, including doctors and nurses, received training. The results were quite satisfactory.
On June 24th, Wu and Ariungerel from Monos Pharm Trade drove for one hour and arrived at the first governmental hospital of Mongolia, the Medical Center Nalaikh district. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Ariunaa. Altogether, there were 22 people, including head nurses, nurses, President of hospital, attended training.
Judging by introduction of Monos and main features of patients, Mr. Wu introduced five aspects in clinical practice, including mechanism of regeneration technique, diabetes foot ulcers (complication observed in MEBT/MEBO clinical practice), nerve root type bedsore among senior citizens and refractory wounds in surgical operations. He also made explanations about mechanism of regeneration technology and clinical practice. In Question/Session, he discussed with Dr. Ariunaa about treatment of diabetes foot ulcers. And, Dr. Ariunaa was very interested in such technology. With fewer generation and numerous herds of cows and sheep, the Mongolians are keen on beef, mutton, pork, horse meat, milk products and other food with high fat and protein. Therefore, there are large amount of patients with diabetes. Many of them cannot receive proper treatment and will suffer from diabetes foot ulcers or even amputation. And MEBO enhanced their confidence. They were very happy to know that their hospital was the first one to receive training from MEBO. After training, she exchanged cards with Wu and said that she will discuss more questions about clinical practice of MEBO with Wu through the translator.

On the morning of June 25th, 9 o’clock, we arrived at Mongolia National Burns Center together with Monos Arigunerel and met with Dr. Batorgil, the Director of Burns Center. He is also our old friend, and this is the hospital in which our old friend Dr. Galbadrakh worked. He visited Guangzhou in October of 2012 and April of 2013 to learn regeneration technology. And currently, he was selected by Mongolian Ministry of Health to learn burns plastic surgery technology in Korea.
Mongolia State Burns and Plastic Surgery Center introduced MEBO from 2005 and adopted MEBT/MEBO since that time. And currently, MEBO formally entered into terminal markets and drug stores. Wu and Dr. Batorgil discussed privately for over 2 hours. And their discussion involved four aspects, first, the selection and timing of applying antibiotics during the treatment process of full-thickness burns with MEBO; second, notes about MEBO in application and the clinical indications about exposure, semi-exposure and bandaging treatment; third, sterilized management of MEBT/MEBO wards, restoration temperature of MEBO in winter; fourth, request of some samples from Monos and MEBO to be applied for patients with lower income. They shall take photos and make data analysis and publish essays about the process of their rehabilitation. Their essays will be published on MEBO’s magazine in China. Considering that this is the first medical marketing here in Mongolia, Wu asked questions about similar products, bioplacenton. And the Company expressed their wish to hold another event of MEBO. However, compared with bioplacenton, Dr. Galbadrakh said that MEBO is better in terms of healing quality of extensive burns.

Later, he met Dr. Tuya and Dr. Namaka who came to Guangzhou to attend regeneration technology training, and exchanged ideas with them. He also got to know that Dr. Tuya has recently applied MEBO to his department. The clinical operation methods and indications are all learned during his visit in Guangzhou. He also invited Wu to diagnose three patients, one is full-thickness explosion burns, one is oil burns and the last one is boiled water burns. All three patients received MEBO regenerative treatment. Then, they exchanged detailed information about semi-exposure therapy which is conducive to rehabilitation.
Mongolian lad with full-thickness scalds was treated with MEBT for one week and received satisfactory results. He required to change dressings for 6 times a day rather than the usually frequency of 4 times a day.

A 3-year-old full-thickness explosion burns was treated with MEBO regeneration techniques for 5 days and received good results.

Then, he arrived at Bayanzurkh District Hospital which is the second largest diabetes treatment center. At present, it adopted regenerative technology 1 month before and Wu hold training class on such subjects as DM foot, regeneration of severed fingers, bedsore, fracture of lower limb and wound healing. Altogether, 42 medical staff, including 7 doctors and three nurses and 32 diabetes patients and their relatives, received training.

With the help of logistic distribution of Monos, all supply of MEBO was completed. Later, Wu met with Dr. Bulgar, the Director of Diabetes Center, and discussed clinical application of diabetes foot ulcers treated with MEBO/MEBT. At the same time, he knew about the incidence of DM diabetes and important materials about previous treatment. Then, he introduced that MEBT/MEBO can treat patients with DM foot ulcers without amputations. The four qualified Mongolian experts discussed heatedly after comparing photos showing results before and after treatment. Dr. Bujgar said that it is really magical.
At the same time, Dr. S.otgonbayr also presented the training class. And, Dr. Davaasuren, Dr. Bedilselesg consulted Wu about regenerative technology, including the factors that influence speed of clinical treatment of diabetes foot ulcers, the increase of white cells and neutrophile granulocytes in blood routine examination of diabetes patients, the treatment of preventing infections and selections of new antibiotics and the timing of treatment with MEBO/MEBT, different disease conditions and wound size, the selection of regenerative technology and operation, the order and frequency of administration. Wu made detailed explanation. Then, Dr. S.otgonbayr said that he would distribute Mongolian doctors to China to learn regenerative technology. Dr. Bujgar also invited Wu to visit his private consulting room. And, the three experts exchanged name cards with Wu, wishing further communication with him in terms of diabetes foot ulcers and regenerative technology.

Mongolia, as the second largest inland country in the world, features vast land and scarce population. Animal husbandry is one of its pillar industry of national economy. Therefore, most ordinary Mongolians eat beef, mutton and milk products, and many of them suffer from obesity and diabetes. Many middle-aged and senior patients will finally suffer from diabetes foot and ulcers and finally the amputation would be the worst result. Due to the high latitude and with the influence of cold current of Siberia, Ulan Bator is called “World’s Coldest Capital”. At the same time, Mr. Wu talked with Dr. Tuya, Vice Director of Mongolia Burns Center, and said that bad weather with much rains and snows will strike after October. In winter, the average outdoor temperature is below 30 degrees and large amount of frostbite patients can be found every year. In addition, numerous Mongolian yurt of various sizes exist around the Capital. Residents living in such yurts require coals and wood for heating and cooking. Therefore, fires are common and burns patients are everywhere during the heating period that lasts for about 8 months. In the mean time, Ulan Bator locates at the northwest part of Mongolia, enjoying unsatisfactory economic and medical conditions. So, many people will die from the extremely cold weather.
With the successful closing of the first medical development in Mongolia, MEBO can be widely adopted onto local patients and can be selected to treat various clinical complications, such as patients with frostbites, diabetes foot ulcers and mild and extensive burns of various types. Regenerative medical sciences have been promoted. When we were distributing news, we gained another one piece of good news that MEBO was successfully registered locally. The MEBO regeneration science will definitely benefit all walks of people in Mongolia.
