2013 Forum & Working Conference of the Special Committee of Burns, Chinese Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine
Inspired by the happiness of new year and the spirit of MEBO International Group Working Conference, the technical support departments of MEBO organized a fellowship activity with academic organizations at various levels. On Jan 24th, 2013, at the invitation of The Armed Police General Hospital (APGH), the Chinese Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Special Committee of Burns (CSIM-SCB) attended the New Year Symposium and working conference held at the hospital, all the vice chairmen, secretaries and the office director Wang Yan from the CSIM-SCB attended the conference on invitation.
The conference room of the Armed Police General Hospital (APGH) was immersed in the happy and joyous atmosphere, Li Shaowei, Vice Chairman of the CSIM-SCB and Director of the Surgical Department at APGH, expressed warm welcome and New Year wishes to the attendees, showed deep appreciation to the support and help that CSIM-SCB provided for the surgical departments of APGH, Treatment Center for Peripheral Vascular Diseases and other clinical departments.
At the meeting, Prof. Xiao Mo, the Chairman of CSIM-SCB, delivered a work summary of 2012 and expressed appreciation to the contribution and hard work that everyone did in promoting the Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. In the summary, he reviewed the achievements and experience on the application of Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in treatment of extensive burns, wounds and ulcers. He also introduced the great pomp of the 12th China Burns Wounds and Ulcers Conference and 1st International Burns Wounds Conference held in Nantong City, displayed the pictures of burn victims that achieved wonderful recovery nationwide. Regenerative Medical Doctors from China, Russia, Mideast, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Egypt, Greece and other countries attended the conference on invitation. In addition, he introduced the clinical experience of applying the Regenerative Medicine and Therapy in related clinical indications and other disciplines. He called for the active participation of everyone in the academic system of Human Regenerative and Restoration Science so as to lay a good foundation for the further dissemination and clinical application of the Regenerative Medicine and Therapy.
At the meeting, Prof. Xiao emphasized the allegation Prof. Xu Rongxiang filed against the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute that infringed a series of MEBO Patents in US, Europe and Japan. In order to protect MEBO intellectual property, respect the nature of human life, and free human from anti-nature researches, Prof. Xu resorted to international law. It aroused strong responses in the world presses and media, and revealed the fact that the research of Nobel Prize winners (has been representing the mainstream of world life science) is 12 years behind MEBO Human Regenerative and Restoration Science.
As the saying goes “Facts speak louder than words”, our clinical practice at home and abroad proved that the current three mainstreams of life science: reproductive cloning research, embryonic stem cell research and transgenosis of somatic cell research are against the nature and regularity of human life, because their focus was artificial cells but the Human Regenerative and Restoration Science is the only mainstream in life science. Through activation of human Potential Regenerative Cell (PRC), it replaces the aged, diseased, apoptotic and defective cells with new regenerated cells, in this way, it achieves regenerative restoration and rejuvenation of various of human tissues, realizes the human dream of ensuring adequate energy and vitality in daily life and work.
At the meeting, the attendees had an in-depth discussion about the continuing education of CSIM-SCB, reached an agreement that there will be 5 programs added to the list of Approved Continuing Education Programs in Beijing, which is fruit of the great efforts from all parties including Peng Shaojun (secretary of CSIM-SCB) and all the vice chairmen. These programs can confer 2 - 4 credits to medical staffs attending the program, greatly increase their enthusiasm for continuing education, and create favorable conditions for promoting the application of Regenerative Medicine and Therapy. Last year, Nanyuan Hospital spent a great effort preparing and holding the academic activities and achieved a great success. The Committee expects other main units show great support and active participation next year so as to make the academic activities rich and varied and achieve better results.
All the attendees expressed the willingness to continue to participate and support the activities of CSIM-SCB and achieve a new height in the new year.
