Report (IV) of the 15th Asian Surgical and Plastic Conference------the Research and Application Report of Full Thickness Burn Injury Interventions by the way of in situ Regeneration Medicine through the Transition from Somatic Cells to Stem Cells
July 17 was the last day of 15th Asian Surgical and Plastic Conference. At 9 AM, Prof. Chen, the Director of the Clinical Department of the China Burns and Ulcers Technology Center, the representative of Prof. Xu Rongxiang (founder of Burn Regenerative Medicine), the deputy commissioner of Beijing Branch of the Chinese Burns Association of the Integrity of Traditional and Western Medicine, and the deputy director of Beijing Rongxiang Institute of Regenerative Medicine, gave a particular academic report called ‘Study and Application Report of Full Thickness Burn Injury Interventions by the way of Human Body Regeneration Restoration through the Transition from Somatic Cells to Stem Cells’. Taking the thickness burn injury interventions by the way of in situ Regenerative Medicine through the transition from somatic cells to stem cells for example, in association with the progressing graph of the transition from somatic cells to stem cells, he introduced the mechanisms about how to awaken the Potential Regenerative Cells (PRCs) that located in the deep layer of injured skin, and then induce the PRCs into skin stem cells and differentiate and proliferate the skin stem cells to connect with each other to form tissue organ and restore the injured skin in situ to the participating specialists coming from more than dozens of countries , such as US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and etc.
Dr. Seng-Teik Lee, the professor from Singapore expressed his dense interests in the Prof. Chen’s report, raising many meaningful questions and suggestions. Dr. Lee had made a research report about the epithelial stem cells from the test stand to the clinic, bringing in many cases analysis about the bi-molecule signing of multiple pleuripotent stem cells and many epithelial stem cells as well as the gene therapy and cell therapy. Meanwhile, he particularly referred to the case in the 14th MEBO life scientific forum that healed the blindness with the corneal epithelial stem cell transplantation. We can see that his studies and clinical applications in the aspect of stem cells also move well and have gained good achievement.
Dr. Lee said with excitement after hearing Prof. Chen’s lecture, ‘We finished the first MEBO international clinical trial in Singapore General Hospital 20 years ago. At that time, the more than 100 cases gained the same good effects as the other interventions and we believed there would be mysterious effects with the application of MEBO Wound Ointment. But we did not know why? Now, I heard out your report. Originally, it attributes to the results of regeneration of stem cells in situ! It is so encouraging! I am so interested in your tests about K-19 type stem cell. It would be better if there were data of other experimental ways in addition to the IFA (Immunofluorescent Assay). Hope better development to MEBO!’ After Chen’s lecture, he pleasantly received the Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy (written by Prof. Xu Rongxiang) gifted by Prof. Chen and wished that he could have better cooperation with MEBO. Meanwhile, he requested MEBO team to bring his sincere regards to Prof. Xu Rongxiang!’
Involving in this conference in Asia- pacific regions is the second time for MEBO to propagate MEBO in situ Regenerative Medicine internationally after the MEBO’s engagement in the 15th International Societies of Burn Injuries. It is one of serial activities to the construction of MEBO international marketing and academy. MEBO Human Body Regeneration Restoration Science is becoming more and more popular in the field of life science worldwide.
