Report from the Earthquake Stricken Area - Part Three
-----A Journalist’s “Good Fortune”
At 8:02am on April 20th, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Lushan county, Ya’an, Sichuan Province. Suddenly, everything fell and crashed, which attracted worldwide attention. From central government leaders to general public, everybody showed great concern about the earthquake-stricken area, and saw the real disaster condition through TV and internet, and offered various forms of assistance, which reflected the great Chinese spirit “when disaster struck, helps came from all directions”. In order to timely report the situation in the disaster area to public, the journalists spared no pains to report in the stricken area.

In the noon of April 21, when Director Fu Zijun was busy rescuing and treating earthquake victims, he received a phone call from the earthquake relief headquarter, so he immediately arrived there as requested. It turned out that Zhao Haiyan, a CCTV journalist, was injured in the lower leg with signs of infection. Therefore, the hospital leaders requested consultation for her from Director Fu Zijun, an expert in Regenerative Medicine and Therapy that receives special government allowance.
