His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr AI Qasimi from Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Visits MEBO International Group and Starts a New Phase of Strategic Collaboration between MEBO and Julphar
This May in Beijing when the flowers are blooming and the balmy air is filled with excitement, MEBO International Group (MEBO) greeted its honored guests from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a prince of Ras al Khaimah of the UAE and Chairman of the board of Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar), Dr. Ayman Sahli, general manager of Julphar, and Dr. Stephania Borg, legal counsel of Julphar. Julphar has been one of MEBO’s long-term international business partners.
Julphar is the largest pharmaceutical company in the Middle East, and a public company listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. It is one of the enterprises invested and controlled by the royal family of His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi. The strategic partnership of MEBO and Julphar started in the 1990s and, in particular, appointed by the board of directors Julphar’s general manager visited Beijing in 1996 and formally established a collaborative relationship with MEBO which granted Julphar the right to import, package and market MEBO Burn Ointment and other skin regeneration products in the UAE and select countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Ever since then, Julphar has become one of MEBO’s important strategic business partners overseas.
Through the collaborative efforts of two sides, MEBO Burn Ointment was quickly approved by the UAE’s regulatory agency as a pharmaceutical. Owing to the remarkable clinic efficacy and superior safety profiles of MEBO’s skin regeneration products, Julphar has enjoyed rapid development in the market in the Middle East and gained fast growing profits in selling these products.
Invited by Dr. Xu Rongxiang, founder and chairman of the board of MEBO, His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi visited MEBO this time to participate in the signing ceremony of a new collaborative agreement between MEBO and Julphar, as well as to discuss further and deeper collaboration with MEBO. Upon extensive discussions and exchange of information, Dr. Xu and High Highness have explored the possibilities of establishing a further enhanced collaborative relationship beyond the current one between the two companies so as to build an extensive, mutually beneficial partnership covering even broader areas by combining the synergistic strengths and resources of both sides.
On May 19 around 2 pm the UAE guests visited the headquarters of MEBO, and were warmly greeted by Dr. Xu, the other board members and the management team of MEBO. The heads of the MEBO companies and relevant departments were individually introduced by Dr. Xu to the guests, followed by a presentation made by Ms. Sun Xia, general manager of MEBO’s International Business Department in Beijing, to showcase MEBO’s series of spectacular clinical results and huge market potentials in the future, such as the treatment of large area deep burns, non-healing chronic wounds, severe trauma wounds, and cancer, as well as rejuvenation of the aged humans topically and systemically. The guests were amazed and impressed by the compelling clinical data; and in particular, Dr. Sahli expressed strong interests and excitement upon viewing the data, which further boosted their confidence in the success of further collaboration between MEBO and Julphar. The guests then toured around MEBO’s headquarter facilities, including MEBO’s high-end exclusive medical spa for human regeneration and rejuvenation, Xian Ren Tang Club. Coincidentally, on the tour the guests witnessed the process of changing wound dressing of a young patient who was undergoing treatment of his injured fingertip with MEBO’s regeneration therapy.
At 5:00pm the Agreement Signing Ceremony was formally started in the main conference room of the headquarters. Attending the ceremony were, from the MEBO side: Dr. Xu Rongxiang, Mr. Yang Zhibin (President of MEBO Pharmaceutical Group, China), Mr. Chen Baoqi (President of MEBO Regeneration Group, China), Ms. Zhang Qian (Director of the Managing Office for the Board of Directors, China), Dr. Shirley Chen (legal counsel and CEO of MEBO International, Inc., USA), Ms. Sun Xia (general manager of International Business Department, China) and Mr. Cai Xiaohong (general manager of Shantou MEBO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., China), and from the Julphar side: His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Dr. Ayman Sahli and Dr. Stephania Borg. During the ceremony Dr. Xu and Dr. Sahli respectively gave enthusiastic and inspiring speeches in which they expressed their strong confidence in the bright future prospects of strategic collaboration between MEBO and Julphar.
Besides the business activities, MEBO also arranged for the guests a rich program including Beijing folk life (hutong) tour, climbing the Great Wall, visiting the Olympic Stadium (the Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (the Water Cube), and enjoying the show “Beijing Night” which highlights China’s thousand-year culture heritage. In the end His Highness and his delegation expressed their deep satisfaction and appreciation of MEBO’s thoughtful and hospitable arrangements, as well as the elegant VIP personal and safety services they received throughout their visit.

The signing of the new collaboration agreement between MEBO and Julphar reaches an important milestone.
