Press Release :Chinese scientist founds Regenerative Medicine

English monograph Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy, written by Chinese bio-medical scientist Rongxiang Xu, has been officially published by the most famous bio-medical publisher--- KARGER. It is the first monograph of Regenerative Medicine, which indicates that Chinese scientist has firstly realized the ideality of future medicine.
In the developmental history of medicine, Chinese medicine and western medicine are widely known and applied. From now on, people will know an innovative medicine system—Regenerative Medicine. Regenerative Medicine represents a unique new approach to preventing diseases, curing diseases and realizing longevity, in which, cells are regenerated in situ by initiating the human potentiality. “Regenerative medicine” is set up by Dr. Xu after the realization of all skin organs’ in situ regeneration after burns and another 55 tissue organs’ successful regeneration including gastrointestinal mucosa based on the skin model. August 2002, Prof. Xu proclaimed this system and promised that he would regenerate and replicate 206 tissue organs in situ and in vitro within 5 years; more addition, they would find approach to control 66 types cancer cell lines. After the proclamation, there was a great shock in the field worldwide. Some scientists encouraged Prof. Xu and some ones suspected. However, all the scientists hoped that the theory and practise of Prof. Xu would be realized as soon as possible. When Prof. Xu was preparing for publishing his research on top journal, KARGER, the most authoritative publisher on medicine and biology, obtained all the copyright of his theory and practice results of regenerative medicine firstly. Now, it’s his first monograph of regenerative medicine and will publish other monographs in succession later. Prof. Xu is the first Chinese scientist who had monograph published by the KARGER. KARGER announced on their website that this book is revolutionary and amazing. They also gave a book review on back cover of the book. It’s heard that a lot of monographs of the Nobel Prize’s winner are published by KARGER.
Prof. Xu said, “Regenerative Medicine is an innovative concept. It is not traditional Chinese medicine and neither western medicine. It is also not similar to the transgene, replantation of stem cells and organs, tissue engineering in vitro and clone technique. Regenerative Medicine prevents and cures diseases by regenerating the damaged cells and necrotic cells in organs with suitable sufficient life regenerative substances, which can maintain the structure and function of organs. While, all other medicines cure diseases either by cutting off the tissues and organs, or by using drugs, which are unacceptable for human cells. Regenerative Medicine cure diseases by the self-regeneration and replication of the cells to replace the dysfunctional and necrotic ones to ensure the well working structure and function with necessary substances of cells”.
Prof. Xu told us that the life of human cells is 300 years old, but the average life of human now is only less than 70. The key reason is whether cells can relay or not. Previous researches consider that human tissue cell cannot replicate and the life of human is limited. However, we approved that the human tissue cells can regenerate and replicate. The average human life can be 300 years old with enough regenerative nutrition for cell proliferation and regeneration. The research is beyond normal thought of human, that’s why it is suspected by many people. The suspicion will disappear when the practice is successful as the suspicion of the skin regeneration on the burn wounds. At the beginning, a lot of people said it was impossible to regenerate the new skin organ based on the theory of their text book, while now, in front of our successful clinical results, the regeneration of skin is well accepted all over the world.
On the press conference, Prof. Xu told us that his next book Gastrointestinal Regenerative Medicine would be published soon. He showed a regenerative case of forefinger. It is unbelievable that at the end of broken finger, all the bones, muscles, skins and nails regenerate after receiving this technique. It indicates that regeneration of limbs is possible.
Regenerative Medicine is not only the contribution of Prof. Xu to human, but also the contribution of all the Chinese to human life and medical science. It is believed that regenerative medicine will be the partner of human for his longevity soon.
