The Third Member Representative Conference of Chinese Medical Doctor Association Convened in Beijing

Prof. Xu Rongxiang Elected to be Standing Director of Chinese Medical Doctor Association

While people from all walks of life are learning and implementing principles advocated in the 18^th National Congress, the Third National Member Representative Conference of Chinese Medical Doctor Association was successfully convened in Beijing. It is especially important for the promotion of management of China’s doctor industry in a continuous and scientific manner. Chinese communist party and central government paid great emphasis over the development of medical and health protection as well as the cultivation of Chinese doctors. Li Keqiang, standing member of political bureau of the central committee of the communist party of China and Vice Premier, made phone call to express his congratulations to all members presented the conference. Sang Weiguo, Vice Chairman of National People’s Congress, and Chen Zhu, Minister of Ministry of Health, send their message of congratulations. Secretary General Zhang Mao from Ministry of Health and Ren Guoquan, Director of Health Department of General Ministry of Logistics, also presented the conference and delivered important speeches. Representatives from medical and healthcare industry in 31 provinces, cities and districts in China selected the members of the Third Council, Secretary General, standing director, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Chinese Medical Doctor Association through secret ballot and strict democratic process. Zhang Yanling was elected as the new Chairman of Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

Prof. Xu Rongxiang, Board Director of Mebo International & Chief Editor of The Chinese Journal of Burns Wounds & Surface Ulcers, was elected as standing director.

As supporting organization, Mebo International paid serious attention to the conference. In the meantime, Zhang Qian, Standing Vice President of President Committee of Mebo, and Xiao Mo, Standing Vice Chief Editor of The Chinese Journal of Burns Wounds & Surface Ulcers, were invited to present the conference, they also brought basket of flowers for the conference on behalf of Mebo. Vice President Chen Boqi, along with personnel from Logistic Department, Concierge Department and Administrative Department, offered their sincere congratulations to all leaders and representatives presented the conference. The fresh fruit and excellent cards became another beautiful scene of the event. Leaders and responsible persons of the event expressed their gratitude over the thoughtful service provided by Mebo and praised their enthusiasm, politeness and hard work.

Before the opening ceremony of the conference, the leaders from Ministry of Health and Chinese Medical Doctor Association presented the conference met with all guests. And what they talked most about the conference was the support over the past few years by Mebo International. Zhang Mao, Secretary of Party Committee of Ministry of Health, shook hands with Vice President Zhang Qian to express gratitude. Mr. Zhang Wenkang, previous Minister of Ministry of Health, talked with great interest about the academic development and contribution of Prof. Xu Rongxiang and recalled something about Xu when he was studying at Binzhou Medical College. Zhang Yanling, the new Chairman of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, thanked Prof. Xu for his support and expressed his desire to visit Mebo. The previous Chairman, Yin Dakui, also appreciated support from Mebo International.

Zhang Yanling delivered speech on the conference, saying that Chinese Medical Doctor Association will actively serve as a bridge between governments and people from all walks of life as well as the link for all doctors and a green channel for feedback of suggestions on grassroots level. In the meantime, it will enhance the communication with governments, people from all walks of life and media in a sincere manner, fully reflect the desires and requirements of doctors, advertise the advanced models of doctors and provide powerful policy support, active public opinion atmosphere and sound social environment for the study, work and life of all doctors.

Founded in 2002, Chinese Medical Doctor Association is an industry association for medical doctors established according to Law on Practicing Doctors. Under the leadership of two consecutive leading groups with Chairman Yin Dakui as the core, the association has done much job in such field as industry management, team establishment, legal rights protection for doctors, self-discipline of the industry and social welfare. The Second Council of Chinese Medical Doctor Association expired. And in accordance with Regulations of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, each council shall serve for 5 years. And the Third National Member Representative Conference reelected members and modified the regulations and worked out future guideline for the association operation. We will carefully learn and fulfill the spirit advocated in the 18^th National Congress, understand the critical concept, strategic idea and operation arrangement. The legal rights shall be maintained and the service shall be done well while actively giving play to supervision and self-discipline functions. The industry supervision, management and self-discipline are critical functions of the Association which will enhance its own development.

The Chinese Journal of Burns Wounds & Ulcers is a standing member unit of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. At the same time, the Association is also the sponsor of the magazine. With complete new historic mission born in mind, we represent ideas of all doctors on national doctor network and we shall maintain the active spirit as always while cooperating with each other and exploring new developments in an effort to seek new opportunities with regard to human regenerative world created by Prof. Xu Rongxiang, achieve new results and contribute our wisdom and power to maintain human health and realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese nationality.
