The Seminar of Recent Advancement on Regenerative Therapy and Technology was held in Dongzhi County, Chizhou of Southern Anhui

On Nov. 26 2008, hosted by Dongzhi County Health Bureau and sponsored by the Chinese Burns Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine (CBAIM), the seminar on the diagnosis, treatment and nursing with BRT (burns regenerative therapy), which is the national continual education project on traditional Chinese medicine was held in the conference room of the People’s Hospital of Dongzhi County. The participants included 120 division directors, clinicians and directors of 29 township health hospitals. Commissioned by the Director Lu of Dongzhi County Health Bureau, Director Tianjin Gao of the medical department organized and hosted the opening ceremony of this seminar.

Dr. Fuqin Du, director of the Chinese Burns Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine(CBAIM) and Beijing MEBO Burns and Ulcers Institute, was invited to give lectures on Therapeutical Efficacy of Regenerative Recuperation Therapy on skin ulcers and the Theory and Practice of Regenerative Medicine—skin wounds and wounds healing (clinical efficacy of MEBO Dressing for Accelerating wound Healing) and the multidisciplinary clinical application of Regenerative Therapy and Technology. With large amounts of clinical data and photos, Dr. Du introduced the concept of regenerative medicine, the five core elements and eight control techniques of regenerative medicine; clinical diagnosis and treatment, the standardization of nursing, and the points that need attention during the clinical practice. Besides, Dr. Hu told the stories about Dr. Rongxiang Xu saving patients with burn wounds, trauma wounds and skin ulcers in Thailand, the Middle East area and in China injured during the '5.12 Quick' this year. Further more, he briefly introduced the international effects of the application of regenerative medicine in Philippine, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Syria, and UAE, the collection of Dr. Xu’s famous work Burns Treatment Encyclopedia into National Library of China. At last, Dr. Hu emphasized the recent advancement on the regenerative medicine. The nature created the human beings, and MEBO creates the human body regeneration. Regenerative medicine has progressed from the tissue organs regeneration to human body regeneration and rejuvenation. The 3-hour lecture generated strong responses among the audience for its rich contents, the practical technology and methods, remarkable therapeutical efficacy and accessibility to the patients.

After the seminar, Dr. Du had extensive communications related to clinical practices and problems with the directors from the county health bureau and the People’s Hospital.
