Report of MEBO Continuing Education Program in Malaysia---- First Week
The international market of MEBO Groups has been aiming to promote Regenerative Medicine and advance medical science and technology. In order to promote the Regenerative Medicine and Technology in Malaysia and expand the MEBO wound care market, MEBO Healthcare and MEBO local agent Triniaire Made have collaborated with each other since June 2013 and made detailed plans to implement medical development. To be specific, carry out 6-8 CME (Continuing Medical Education) or CNE (Continuing Nursing Education) programs each month and train key local doctors to be backbone experts. From September 1 to September 13, Managers of MEBO Healthcare in Malaysia, Michael Wu, Joel Zhao and Clinical Educator Diana Zhang, have launched a series of CME and CNE and case consultation. The following is the detailed report:
On August 28, 2013, clinical educator Diana Zhang from MEBO International Groups met with clinical training manager Noliza, and discussed the itinerary for the upcoming CMEs and CNEs. There were 6 programs planned (30-50 attendance expected for each program), mostly in orthopedic departments, because diabetic ulcer (one of the key indications of MEBO) is covered in this department (for amputation). Due to the dietary structure, diabetic patients in Malaysia are on the rise, which makes the introduction of MEBO and Regenerative Medicine crucial and meaningful.
Before the CMEs and CNEs, the MEBO Team visited Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, met the Head of Burn and Plastic Surgery Department Dr.Farrah and charge nurse, sister Rhama. MEBO team investigated the learning needs of the medical staffs and provided consultation for a skin tumor patient.
At 10am on September 3, Noliza, the Clinical Training Manager from Triniaire, Diana Cheung, the sales representative from Triniaire, Diana Zhang and Michael Wu from MEBO International Group drove together to Hospital Taiping, the CME here is mainly focused on MEBO research and mechanism exploration. The doctors were active during interaction and asked for samples later on!
On September 4,MEBO team drove to Ipoh in the rain and carried out CME and CNE in Hospital Batu Gajah, the CME was organized by the orthopedic department but doctors in all departments were invited. Because it was a combination of CME and CNE, the presentations focused on the MEBO’s indications, standard application, properties and mechanism exploration. Diana specifically stressed the basic principles of dressing. After the presentation, Diana gave a small prize Q and A to the audience, their responses were satisfactory.
