During June 15 to 19, 2005, the International Department of MEBO International Group participated the 16th China Harbin Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation (China Harbin Fair) held in Harbin, China.
China Harbin Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation (China Harbin Fair), one of the largest international fairs in China authorized by Chinese government, was held on June 15th every year in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province. It has been successfully held for 15 years ever since the first event on 1990. 1.1 million foreign exhibitors and visitors came to the fair and more than US$ 70 billion business concluded. The 16th China Harbin fair, one of the major international trade fairs in China, closed on June 19, 2005 in Harbin, the capital city of NE China Heilongjiang province, with the signing of the export and import contracts worth of 3.96 billion US dollars, a rise of 18.9 percent as compared to the previous year.
According to the Organizing Committee of the 16th China Harbin Fair, export deals clinched at the fair valued 2.26 billion US dollars, 47.7 percent more than that at the previous fair.
The event has drawn more than 10,000 traders from 81 countries and regions across the globe. Government representatives from Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea (ROK), Singapore, Malaysia and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China, debuted at the fair, an annual event approved by the State Council, or the Chinese central government.
