Kevin Xu Strengthens Global Partnerships at 2025 BRICS Business Forum in Brazil
On July 5, 2025, Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group, participated in the BRICS Business Forum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This high-level event, held alongside the BRICS leaders’ summit, centered on four key global issues: trade security, energy transition, digital innovation, and cross-border financing.

Recognized for its impactful role in regional collaboration and policy development, MEBO Group was selected as a strategic partner of the forum. Kevin Xu, invited by COP30 President Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago, attended as former Chair of the APEC Host Committee.
Bilateral Talks and Global Influence
During the forum, Xu met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to schedule further economic talks at the upcoming 2025 APEC CEO Summit in South Korea. He also engaged with leaders from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and the UAE—reinforcing MEBO’s global influence.
Kevin Xu previously participated in the 2017 forum in Xiamen, where he attended President Xi Jinping’s keynote on deepening BRICS partnerships. His renewed engagement reflects a strategic continuation of his commitment to cross-regional cooperation and aligns with his vision of strengthening the Asia-Pacific community.

The event attracted top-tier leaders, including Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, CNI President Ricardo Alban, BRICS Business Council Chairman Francisco Neto, BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Chair Monica Monteiro, and COP30 President Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago. Their presence signaled Brazil’s strong support for the forum’s mission.
