MEBO International was Invited to Participate in the Third U.S. – China Sister Cities Conference & U.S. -China Healthy Cities Forum

The Third U.S. – China Sister Cities Conference & U.S.– China Healthy Cities Forum was held in Nanchang city, Jiangxi Province, from November 18-19, 2016. Over 300 representatives from governments and various industries from both China and U.S. attended the conference. Mr. Yang Zhibin, Executive Vice-President of MEBO International and Ms. Zhang Qian, Vice-President of MEBO International attended the conference on behalf of MEBO U.S. and China headquarters.

The Third U.S. – China Sister Cities Conference & U.S.– China Healthy Cities Forum was co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Association For Friendship with Foreign Countries, the National Health and Family Planning Commission of China and the United States Department of Health and Human Services, with the theme of  ‘Health, Sister Cities, Innovation’ , in which a wide range of topics were discussed such as ‘integration of health into the local development policies’, ‘realization of healthy cities and sustainable development goals’ and ‘trend in development of health industry and corporate social responsibility’, and  issues facing the global urbanization, globalization and health promotion.

During the conference, Mr. Yang Zhibin said that the Rongxiang Xu MD Centre for Regenerative Therapeutics established by MEBO International and Harvard Medical School, the Rongxiang Xu Centre of Regenerative Life Science established by MEBO International and USC Davis School of Gerontology, and the Rongxiang Xu Bioscience Innovation Centre established by MEBO International and Cal State LA, will all contribute to the development of regenerative life science which is a global scientific subject concerning the health of all people in the world.

When talking about corporate social responsibility, Mr. Yang Zhibin said that only the enterprise with a high sense of social responsibility could grow into a fast developing company with a strong vitality. MEBO International is such a company that has always pursued the social responsibility as a core value of the company, and by doing so, the economic value and social value of the enterprise have both been enhanced.

Dr. Rongxiang Xu, the founder of MEBO International, has always regarded ‘striving for human health’ as his life-time pursuit, which is also the core value and the social responsibility that MEBO International has been implementing all the time. Just as Kevin Xu, Board Chairman of MEBO International, said ‘maintaining a strong corporate social responsibility plan will encourage the long-term health of a business, the personal development of your employees, and long lasting effects on the world.’

As a result, for better implementing corporate social responsibility, MEBO International founded the National Rongxiang Xu Foundation in the U.S. and the Chinese Red Cross Foundation “Rongxiang Xu Regenerative Life Non-profit Fund” in China to provide aids and promote the dissemination of science; set up the first regenerative therapy rescue team for the UN programme; established cooperation with several well-known universities to advance the research and application of regenerative life science to benefit more people; launched the initiative of ‘Training Doctors on Moist Exposed Burn Therapy (MEBT)’ which aimed at training 20,000 doctors in China. MEBO International, therefore, has taken on a lot of social responsibilities and made tremendous efforts worldwide to help more people in the world.
