Caifang Su Meets with Guests from MEBO International

On March 3, Caifang Su, vice president of Guangdong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries met with a group of guests from MEBO International(an American  pharmaceutical group )led by Kevin Xu, board chairman of MEBO International. The two sides had an in-depth discussion about strengthening the cooperation in the field of Chinese medicine.
Firstly, Caifang Su extended her welcome to guests . She said, Guangdong Province is well known for Chinese medicine. The Chinese medicine industry plays an essential role in the economic transformation and upgrade of Guangdong Province. MEBO is a well-performed innovative company in the field of Chinese medicine and  has made active contribution to the global development of Chinese medicine=. She supports MEBO’s plan of establishing a new factory in Guangdong, to which Guangdong CPAFFC will provide assistance if necessary.
Kevin Xu was very grateful for Guangdong CPAFFC’s warm reception. He said, His father Rongxiang Xu, the founder of MEBO has devoted all his life to exploring treatments for organ damage including burns by making use of Chinese medicine and eventually was recognized in the worldwide after breaking down resistance from the Western medicine. Kevin wants  to establish close contacts with Guangdong medical institutes under the help of Guangdong CPAFFC, making MEBO’s production base in Guangdong bigger and stronger and contributing more to the global development of Chinese medicine.
Founded in 1987, Beijing, MEBO Group set up its global headquarters in Los Angeles, USA in 2000 and became a member of Clinton Global Initiative in 2014. Its burn treatment techniques and medication enjoy great influence in the world. Xu Zou, vice president of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hong Yu, the secretary
General of Sino-American Friendship Association also attended the meeting.
