----Documentary of 112^th Canton Trade Fair

October 15^th witnessed the 112^th China Export Commodities Fair which is held biannually. China Export Commodities Fair, also known as Canton Trade Fair, was established in spring of 1957 and was held separately in spring and autumn in Guangzhou, with a history of 55 years up until now. Among all similar fairs in China, it attracts the most foreign exhibitors and enjoys the most satisfactory trade performance and sound reputation. Also, it is a comprehensive nation-wide fair with the longest history, highest level, largest scale, most diversified commodity categories and most exhibitors. Since MEBO made its debut, five years have passed. And, after 6 months’ preparation, including application and design of booth and preparation of materials, Mr. Liu Gang, Vice President of MEBO International Market Group, delegated MEBO international market team members (Xie Ren, Wu Yun, Zhao Yamin and Jin Riyong) to reappear on Canton Trade Fair. Details are as follows:

October 30^th, MEBO team hurried to Canton Trade Fair to arrange exhibits without any hesitation after 20 hours long journey. The booth is shiningly bright. Here, sufficient information can be found, including enterprise information, products, technology and a myriad of diversified information. Such design made us outstanding among all other exhibitors. The arrangement of booth lasted for more than 3 hours.

October 31^st, 9:00, the exhibition kicks off. Exhibitors and buyers from around the world came into the fair. And, MEBO team also presented very early and started their busy work.

The Canton Trade Fair this fall will continue to follow the same pattern for coming three phases. Covering a total area of 1.16 million square meters, the Fair attracts 24,840 enterprises from China and around the world, an increase of 196 comparing with the previous one. Total number for foreign exhibitors reached 58,615, the number of participants reached 24,288, increasing by 164 comparing with previous fair. And, exhibits for famous brands are 11,806, accounting for 20%, and those for general commodities are 46,809, accounting for 80%. The number for participant enterprises is 8,644 in the first phase, 7,228 for the second phase and 8,416 for the third phase.

Within imports exhibits section, there are altogether 552 enterprises from 44 countries and regions presenting the fair, increasing by 32 comparing with last fair. And, with regard to national regional level delegations, new faces like Japan, Brazil and Thailand also made their debut. The top five countries and regions include South Korea, Chinese Taiwan, India, Malaysia and Turkey.

The Canton Trade Fair this fall will keep following brand strategy and evaluating brand enterprises and re-distributing number of brand exhibits and re-arranging location for such enterprises. Total number of brand exhibits reached 11,806, increased by 827 (up to 20% with regard to scale). And 2,225 brand enterprises are well arranged, increased by 321 comparing with last fair. The enlarged brand exhibit section is conducive to play a role of guidance and to service “transformation” of trade. The Fair will invite as many as 1,305million enterprises, increased by about 17% when compared with last fair.

Reception of Guests

By 3 o’clock on November 2^nd, MEBO exhibition booth attracts over 200 guests, and about 30 of them intended to cooperate. MEBO team members introduced company information numerous times to the guests. And most of the guests showed obvious interests over MEBO technology and products, saying that they will keep contacting MEBO and looking for cooperation opportunities. The Fair will close on this Sunday, and MEBO team members will continue developing and promoting our products and try out utmost to explore potential partners in the market.
