Business Summit of MEBO- Julphar was held successfully in Shanghai

Based on the 2012marketing plan for Middle East, North Africa and South America, senior management of MEBO International Business Group and Julphar attended the “2012 Business Summit of MEBO-Julphar in Shanghai” from 26th to 28th March 2012. They held an in depth business talk regarding marketing plan, new product promotion, development of south Africa market as well as product registration and continued medical education(CME)etc. Meanwhile, Julphar team also paid a visit to the Shanghai MEBO life & Science Technology Co., Ltd at the invitation of the company and made a preliminary overall and rapid developing plan of both parties in terms of medical devices in the next following years. On 26th to 27th March, the “2012 Business Summit of MEBO-Julphar in Shanghai” was held in the N 5 hall of Shanghai Boyue Hotel. Attendees of MEBO International Group included Ms. SUN Xia, CEO of MEBO International Business Group, Mr. LIU Gang, Vice-president of MEBO International Business Group, and Mr. WU Yun, Chief of Marketing Management Department as well as Mr. XU Chong, Chief of Business Development Department. Julphar team included Dr. Ayman Sahli, General Manager of Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Aly Mousa, CMD and Dr.Stephania Borg, Legal Director as well as ZHANG Hong, Director of the representative office of Julphar in Shanghai. Both sides summarized the marketing development of 2011 and exchanged views in terms of new products planning, South Africa development, and product registration as well as continued medical education. Dr Aly introduced the up to date progress of different markets and he especially proposed that they have got the certificate of medical devices for entering Saudi Arabia which represents that all the medical devices of MEBO can be sold in Saudi Arabia without interference and he also made a three years ‘preliminary marketing prediction. Ms. SUN affirmed the marketing plan of Julphar in the area of medical devices and gave some instructing suggestions regarding marketing development of South Africa, new product registration, CME as well as co operations on conference. She also emphasized the importance of “2012 CBAIM Burn Conference” which will be held on May in Nantong Jiangsu Province. Julphar team expressed that they will take part in the conference actively and have assigned a team with 25 doctors to attend this great event.

In afternoon of 27th, Julphar team visited the Shanghai MEBO Life & Science Technology Co., Ltd. Ms. SUN and Professor SHANG Qing-xin, General Manager of Shanghai MEBO Life & Science Technology Co., Ltd gave a warm welcome to the visit of Julphar team. Professor SHANG expressed his warm welcome again and briefly introduced the development history, current state and future plan of Shanghai MEBO Life & Science Technology Co., Ltd after moving to the new office building on March. He also expressed his will to transform the company to be a world class base of developing, producing and exporting medical device of Human Body Regenerative Restoration Science to provide the most advanced and most competitive products for oversea partnerships include Julphar. After that, ZHAO Yue, Manager of Foreign trade Department with ZHUANG Ya-ping, Director of Quality Department introduced the company and quality monitoring system respectively which received highly praise form Dr. Ayman.

Afterwards, Dr.Ayman and others visited the equipments of new factory as well as checking packaging process MEBO Wound and Ulcer Dressing for Saudi Arabia with accompany of Ms. SUN and Professor SHANG. Dr. Ayman said confidently that “ we will definitely develop more product systems of MEBO to accelerate the in depth cooperation and marketing of medical devices in Middle East, Africa, South America rapidly and to make sure that MEBO Wound and Ulcer Dressing and MEBO Scar Ointment to be the quick selling products as MEBO Ointment!”
Both sides have undergone rapid market development after restarting in depth cooperation since 2008 with more than 40% annual increase in the past four years and market share in some countries and district exceed 50% especially in Saudi Arabia and UAE market share has reached to 80%. 2012 is the fourth year of bilateral cooperation with rapid development and also the most important year. Both sides have been committed to expand multi products system while there will be real breakthrough and rapid development in the area of medical devices in 2012. Based on the marketing prediction, both sides will have a sustainable and balanced development in terms of medications, medical devices and health care products. Furthermore, Shanghai MEBO Life & Science Technology Co., Ltd will also have a development with MEBO International Business Group to be an international enterprise for developing and producing medical devices. Let’s walk hand in hand in the year of 2012 to make great progress in the future!
