In-depth Training of Malaysia Nurse in Sichuan Province—Shifang Burns Hospital

Recent years, with the spread and promotion of MEBT/MEBO around the world, more and more people had in –depth understanding of this magical technique and Malaysia is one of the countries that fancy with MEBT/MEBO. Burns Regenerative Medicine has gradually become the leading therapy for burn treatment in Malaysia with the elaborated cooperation of Chinese experts, MEBO International Marketing Group and MEBO Malaysia. With the in-depth promotion of the technique in Malaysia, the requirement of MEBT/MEBO also increased. On March 2012, under the elaborated organization of the three parties, MEBO Malaysia send a nurse to have a in-depth study on the standard application of MEBT/MEBO so as to boost the CME in Malaysia.
The training course began with Shifang Burns Hospital which is located in the center of the city and is a special hospital for burn with integration of burn, traumatic wounds and ulcers treatment. The hospital was a special clinic with 3 medical staffs in the industrial area of the city back in the old days. However, after 5 years development it has become a modern special hospital with advanced equipment and internationalized burn unite. The hospital has got many achievements and had good reputation for burn, scald and ulcers treatment in the local are due to the promotion and popularization of MEBT/MEBO. Many large extensive cases treated by MEBT/MEBO in the hospital has been included in the Complete Book of Burn Treatment. Moreover, many patients treated in the hospital has selected as the Burns Rehabilitation Stars during the conference of CBAIM. The skills of large extensive burn treatment have improved a lot due to application of MEBT/MEBO.

On 5th March, leaded and accompanied by Professor HU Dong-cai, Secretary of CBAIM, associate editor in chief of Chinese Journal of Burns Wounds & Surface Ulcers, QIU Wei-dong, Director of office of CBAIM in Sichuan Province, nurse Amrruwaida with Chris Yang, Technical support paid a visit to the Shifang Burns Hospital. They first visited the newly built out-patient building and president of the hospital made a brief introduction of hospital development. He also said they have made lots of progress in the treatment of large extensive burn since MEBT/MEBO was introduced to the hospital in 2003.
On 6th March, training was officially begun in Shifang Burns Hospital. With the organization of vice president of the hospital, the attending doctor of Burn Department introduced the application of MEBT/MEBO in their hospital in details and demonstrated many cases treated by this technique such as chemical burn, scald injuries, large extensive burn, electrical burn etc. The demonstration showed the superiority and significant therapeutic effects of MEBT/MEBO with vivid pictures. Amrru was surprised at the unbelievable results of MEBT/MEBO in treating patients with 95% TBSA because patients with same injury can not survive in Malaysia. However it is unbelievable that patient can not only survive with MEBT/MEBO but also without hyperplasia scars and disabilities.

In the afternoon, Amrru visited the Burn Unit with accompany of vice president and witnessed the application of MEBT/MEBO in Burn Department. She was amazed at the good therapeutic effects of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of burns, scald, traumatic wounds and diabetic foot. Meanwhile, many patients also expressed their feeling after using this technique and praised the significant effects of the technique with less pain. They also wished that Amrru could introduced the technique to her hospital as soon as possible to benefit local people.

On 8th March, with the instruction of WANG Lei, attending doctor of Burn Department, Amrru can not wait to do the dressing change procedure by herself. She basically grasped the key points of wound cleaning of MEBT/MEBO such as “Three no principle” and “Four timely principle” as well as other wound management. She began the dressing change procedure under the careful instruction of doctors in Burn Department

In the next following days, Amrru grasp the principles of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of deep burn, pediatric scald injuries, diabetic foot, lower extremities ulcer and hot crush injuries. She also familiar and mastered the key points of MEBT/MEBO.

On 11th March, this is the last of Amrru’s training in Shifang City. One of the local media made a special interview for her after knowing her presence in the hospital. During the interview, she said “ it is the great progress of MEBT/MEBO achieved in burn treatment drive me to study in china and I really learned a lot and witnessed the magical power of this technique. I will promote the application of MEBT/MEBO in Malaysia and benefit more and more people”.
In the afternoon Amrru was hurry to Ya’an People’s Hospital which was the second hospital she will stay for 2 weeks. Please pay attention to the following report.
