Medical Development in Philippine Has Seen Good Results; Expansion of Regenerative Medicine and Technique Has Gained New Breakthrough

On Oct 10, 2010, Prof. Wang Hongsheng, the standing committee member and office director of Chinese Burn Association of the Integrity of Traditional and Western Medicine, vice-president of Beijing MEBO Institution for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers, Mr. Shu Ye, the technical support specialist of MEBO International Marketing Department and Mr. Xu Chong, the district manager of Philippine, by the request of Acuherb Company---the MEBO’s distributor in Philippine, commenced the marketing work and medical & technical support planed by both parties in Philippine.
 
At 8 am of Oct 11th, Prof. Wang with his companions visited the Auherb Company. And Mr. Zheng Qiming, General Manager of Acuherb Company warmly welcomed Prof. Wang’s arrival. Mr. Xu Chong also transferred the regards from Ms. Sun Xia, the general manager of MEBO International Marketing Department and Mr. Liu Gang, the Marketing Director of MEBO International Marketing Department to Mr. Zheng Qiming. Both in the meeting expressed that it needs to extensively enhance the mutual cooperation and realize the marketing breakthrough in Philippine as soon as possible.
 
In the marketing talks, both parties concerned on four significant matters and attained the common sense: 1. sales summary in 2010; 2. how to maximize the effectiveness of medical development; 3. seek for new sales rising and the cooperative program of new products; 4. the rough plan in 2011.
 
There are three key assignments in this round of ten days’ medical & technical support as followed: 1. Medical and technical maintenance and consolidation of key governmental hospitals; 2. the multi-disciplinary application of MEBO regenerative medicine and therapy; 3. the training of MEBT/MEBO in the burn department of newly-developed hospitals. During the ten days’ working, Prof. Wang was invited by nine governmental hospitals. By the co-efforts from Acuherb and MEBO, there were more than 200 doctors from burn, orthopedics, plastic and general surgery departments received the training with respect to MEBO regenerative medicine and therapy with 10 department-wide classes, 3 round table discussions and one presentation with more than 80 medical college students participating;

The detailed description concerning this round of medical development as followed:
 
In the morning of Oct 11, Prof. Wang and his companions came to Philippine General Hospital (PGH). PGH is the biggest governmental hospital in Philippine. There are totally 150 beds in burn and orthopedics department. And the burn department is the best one using MEBT/MEBO. As a result, by the request of the hospital, Prof. Wang presented a wonderful lecture regard to the application of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of chronic wounds. The participating doctors marveled at the amazing effects of MEBT/MEBO and proposed many questions about how to tackle the infection (the most common and severest complication of burns). Prof. Wang answered the questions via the lectured cases that propelled the lecture to the climax. After that, Prof. Wang made ward-round in the orthopedics department and guided the medical staff how to perform the standard procedures of dressing-change with MEBT/MEBO.
At 6pm, Prof. Wang communicated with the mainstay doctors from Remed Center, including Dr. Glenn, the president of Philippine Burn Association. And Prof. Wang gave a lecture concerning the application of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of chronic wounds.

On Oct 12th , Prof. Wang had academic communication with doctors of Philippine Orthopedics Center. Prof. Wang explained the mechanism of MEBT/MEBO via the clinical application of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of burns, wounds, and ulcers; in demonstration of MEBT, he also made key description in terms of the treatment of infectious wounds, micro-skin transplantation and etc. Participating doctors benefited a lot from the lecture and expressed with full confidence that they will bring in MEBT/MEBO and spread its utilization into the overall department.

At 9 am of Oct 13th, Prof. Wang lectured with respect to the systemic therapy of the MEBT/MEBO in burn department in EAMC (East Avenue Medical Center). After that, Prof. Wang came to the ward and guided the wound treatment with primary care doctors that enhanced the spread and popularization of MEBT/MEBO in the burn department.
At 3 pm, Prof. Wang, Mr. Shu Ye and Mr. Xu Chong came to Acuherb Company and conducted a two hours’ training class concerning the MEBT/MEBO to the Acuherb Company’s sales team.

At 10 am of Oct 14th, Prof. Wang gave a lecture in the orthopedics department in Jose Reyes Hospital with the topic as the up-to-date progress of the clinical application of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of refractory wounds.
At 2 pm, Prof. Wang came to the Cardinal Santos Hospital and conducted the training about MEBT/MEBO for general surgery doctors.

In the morning of Oct 15th, Prof. Wang came to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center to conduct the academic communication and discussion with doctors of burn department and gave a report about the newest clinical application of MEBT/MEBO. After that, Dr. Low shared his own feeling about the application of MEBT/MEBO with the participating doctors. One thing deserved to mention is that Dr. Sy, the director of Burn department will go to Guangzhou to receive the training regard to the treatment of deep and extremely large area burns for two weeks on Dec 15th. Prof. Wang expressed that he will comprehensively and systemically teach Dr. Law the methods to treat patient with deep and large area burns.

On the Oct 17th, it was the day when ReMed center participated in the SMX Expo. Prof. Wang and his companions visited the exhibition booth of ReMed center with high expectations. Indeed, from the spreading and development of MEBO in Philippine point of view, ReMed center is either a platform to popularize MEBO’s science and technique, or one new growth point of marketing in Philippine. General Manager, Zheng Qiming also hoped that Prof. Wang could often come and give the directions.
After that, Prof. Wang gave a lecture about MEBO’s regenerative medicine for more than 80 students from one Philippine medical college. During the course of lecture, there were not a stop on the astonishment and applause. As the medical college students receiving the education of mainstream medicine never saw such a advanced therapy like this. Hopefully, they could be the one using MEBO’s science and therapy to help patient.

In the morning of Oct 18th, Prof. Wang gave the lectures concerning the up-to-date clinical application of MEBT/MEBO for all medical staff in burn units of QMMC and PCGH respectively.
In the afternoon, Prof. Wang conducted the training class about the anti-scar therapy with MEBT/MEBO for four mainstay doctors in ReMed center.
On Oct 19th, Prof. Wang respectively gave two lectures about the clinical application of MEBT/MEBO in the treatment of chronic wounds in Veterans Hospital and Philippine Orthopedics Center.

Oct 20th was the last day and the busiest day of this round of medical development. Although all were tired, Prof. Wang still heartily offered the most detailed and accurate description and explanation for the questions raised by doctors.

At 8 am, Prof. Wang had breakfast with three senior doctors in the area of burn treatment in Philippine. Although they have been so skillful and famous in the treatment of burns, they were convinced sincerely by the amazing efficacy of MEBT/MEBO.   
At the noon, Prof. Wang once again came to the burn unit of PGH and gave a lecture with the topic as the anti-infectious therapy of burns with MEBT/MEBO and the case analysis of successful treatment of large area burns. After that, he was invited to the burn ward to make ward-round and showed the cautions during the dressing-change and demonstrate the standard procedures of dressing-change and ‘skin-incision and tension-relieving’ technique on one patient classified as superficial III degree burn. In addition, he told the signs and symptoms of infectious wound and how to carry out effective interventions in the course of wound healing. Through the above academic activities, the theoretical and practical skills of the medical staff in this burn unit were improved.  
At 7 pm, a round table discussion arranged by Acuherb was begun. And Prof. Wang had a deep communication with several experts about the clinical application of MEBT/MEBO in treatment of burns, wound and ulcers.

  MEBO’s technique and products will be better and better spread in Philippine via the success of this new medical development model and the mutual enhanced cooperation due to this extensive marketing communication.
