Wonders of Regenerative Medicine Stroke a Strong Chord Among Foreign Visiting Experts at the Foot of Mount Tai

The weather was clear with warm spring breeze and all was full of vigour. On 18th May, Ms. Salina, Director of the Burns Center of the Sungai Buloh Hospital of Malaysia Ministry of Health was accompanied by Prof. Chen Yongchong (the assistant of Prof. Xu Rongxiang, the originator of human body regenerative restoration science and burns regenerative medicine, the director of the Chinese Burns & Ulcers Research Center, the deputy commissioner of the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Burn Association of the Integrity of Traditional and Western Medicine (CBAIM), and the deputy dean of the Beijing Rongxiang Institute of Regenerative Medicine) to the Burns Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Taishan Medical College for field visits of burns treatment, clinical teaching base and experience exchanges on burns and ulcers treatment. The Sungai Buloh Hospital was a big general hospital directly attached to Malaysia Ministry of Health. And the Affiliated Hospital of Taishan Medical College was one of the best hospitals locally and was one of the earliest hospitals in China that introduced MEBT/MEBO and with over 20 years clinical practice experience of MEBT/MEBO.

At 2:00pm, the visiting delegation of 4 visitors arrived in the ward of the Burns Department for experience exchanges and field study. During the visit, Ms. Salina gave high comments on the leading treatment technology on burns and ulcers. Meanwhile she pointed out that with the Chinese expert’s assistance, there were more and more patients benefiting from this advanced Chinese technology. And Ms. Salina expressed that she would try to promote and popularized MEBT/MEBO generally in Malaysia. And then, at the invitation of the hospital, Ms. Salina and Prof. Wang from the Affiliated Hospital of Taishan Medical College attended the activity of academic exchanges and cases exhibition in the multifunctional hall of the hospital. The administration of all levels and the students from the Medical College attended this activity and felt high proud of the successful application of MEBT/MEBO in Malaysia!

On the morning of 19th May, Ms. Salina with the company of Prof. Chen went to the ward for a further field study and field exchanges. During the visit, they attended the morning conference of the Burns Department and had the oral shift exchange between the doctors and nurses as well as the relevant supervising system introduction from Director Xu of Burns Department. Then they followed the on-duty doctors for dressing change and cases discussion, the making method of MEBO oil gauzes, wound management, and the introduction about surgery room instruments and facilities, the patients’ prognosis and turnover and so on. Besides, Ms. Salina also raised relevant questions, which were all answered satisfactorily. And Ms. Salina expressed that the clinical experience of burns and ulcers treatment was worth greatly study of Malaysian people!

On the afternoon of 19th May, with the accompany of the relevant staff from the hospital, the visiting delegation was guided to the foot of Mount Tai to visit the great place of interest of China. Ms. Salina hoped that MEBT/MEBO would be as great as Mount Tai in Malaysia. And on the morning of 20th May, the delegation of 4 visitors returned back to Beijing to attend the 11th Chinese Congress of Burns, Wounds and Ulcers Regenerative Medicine.

With this chance of field trip to Chinese local burns center and teaching hospital, the experts from China and Malaysia got to exchange their clinical experience and to make the best of the both, more over, the friendship between the two sides were greatly improved. And it has paid the great foundation for future further academic exchanges and joint progress of the two sides.
