Medical Marketing and Clinical Training Programs Have been fully Activated in UAE

United Arab Emirates (UAE) is among those countries in Middle East those registered and introduced burns regenerative medicine and techniques in the early stage. After ten years’ development, MEBO products are enjoying an over 90% market share of local OTC medical field. Further more, MEBO products are quite popular among the UAE clinical doctors as well as the common people. Some doctors have extensively applied MEBO products in kinds of traumas besides burns and nice clinical results have been gained. But without routine and effective medical and technical support and guidance, there still leaves much to be desired for the extensive and standard application of MEBO as well as the nice clinical results on treating extensively burned patients with burns regenerative medicine and technique in UAE and even the whole Middle East region. In order to improve this situation, in October 2009, Professor Chen Yongchong (director of the Clinical Department of the Chinese Burns and Traumas Techniques Center, committee member of the CBAIM (the Chinese Burns Association of the Integrity of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine ) ) was invited by many local hospitals and UAE JULPHAR pharmaceutical to host the technical training programs on burns regenerative medicine and therapy and standard clinical application to over 160 doctors on Burns, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, General Surgery, Osteopath and so on. All the participants highly appreciated the training and consider it helpful. More addition they were shocked at the achievements on fundamental research of MEBO burns regenerative medicine and technique and its clinical results in treating big burns and refractory traumas. The followings are the details introduction on the training programs:

I. On October 13, 2009 9:00pm  The training seminar was held in Abu Dhabi on the new improvement of burns regenerative medicine and therapy. The participants included near 20 key clinicians of Burns, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Trauma and Emergency, Dermatology and Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department from hospitals located in Dubai. The training lasted over 2 hours and was highly appreciated by the audience;

II. On October 15, 2009 9:00pm   The training seminar on the new development of burns and traumas regenerative medicine and therapy was successfully held in Dubai and more than 50 doctors of burns, plastic surgery, general surgery, traumas, emergence, dermatology and gynaecology and obstetrics from many local hospitals. It was hosted by Dr. Ali, the president of UAE Clinician Association and Burns and Plastic Surgery Society as well as master tutor of Dubai Medicine College. The two-hour’s seminar gained great success with warm atmosphere;

III. On October 14 and 18, 2009  Prof. Chen was twice invited to the Burns Center of Dubai Rashid Hospital (the biggest burns center and biggest hospital in Dubai) for medical consultation on burns patients treatment and clinical guidance on standard wound management of burns regenerative medicine and therapy. With thorough discussion on burns cases and live demonstration, Prof. Chen made the clinicians and nurses in the burns center more comprehensively understand and master the burns regenerative medicine and therapy. This seminar was very successful and fruitful;

IV. On October 18, 2009 in the afternoon  Prof. Chen was invited to the Dubai International Modern Hospital ( Dubai national modern hospital, covering around 200 ward beds, with the Surgery Plastic Center) to give a training program on the application of burns regenerative medicine and therapy on burns, traumas and refractory wounds, which was greatly welcomed by the participants;

V. On October 20, 2009  in the afternoon  Prof. Chen was invited to the Dubai Jebel Ali International Hospital (regional private hospital) to give the training program to over 40 clinicians and nurses of burns, plastic surgery, emergence, dermatology and general surgery of this hospital on the application of MEBO burns regenerative medicine and therapy on burns, traumas and refractory wounds. All the participants listened carefully and were abstracted by the marvelous clinical effects of burns regenerative medicine. More over the president of the hospital expressed the hopes to extend the application scope of burns regenerative medicine and therapy and with future routine technical support from China to set burns and traumas center in order to save more patients.

The training program on the clinical application of burns regenerative medicine and therapy has aroused great influence in the burns and traumas field in UAE. Due to Prof. Chen’s tight schedule, many expected visits to hospitals in other cities had to be cancelled while for next arrangement. But we sincerely believe that only with our insistent efforts to provide professional technical support, clinical guidance and training of burns regenerative medicine and therapy, there will certainly be more and more clinicians and doctors in UAE better understanding and mastering this kind of advancing technique to benefit more patients with the best treating effects!
