MEBO Sent Medical Aid and Donated Products to Earthquake Areas in China

On May 12 strong earthquakes struck southwestern China epicentered in Wenchuan , Sichuan Province. The disaster destroyed many buildings, killed more than ten thousand people, and wounded even more.
Facing such a sudden, devastating nature disaster, medical professionals inSichuan were swiftly mobilized and rushed to the earthquake areas to rescue. In particular, experts in wound healing in Sichuan who are in the network of the Chinese Burn Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine (CBAIM) played critical roles in the rescuing efforts.
As the founder and head of the CBAIM, Dr. Rongxiang Xu called an emergency meeting of the Association inBeijing as soon as he heard about the news of the earthquakes. At the meeting it was decided that in order to focus on providing the best aid to the disaster-struck areas, the 10th National Conference of the CBAIM originally scheduled to be held on May 25-28 in Yaan , Sichuan will be postponed indefinitely. Members of the CBAIM will fully participate in the rescue efforts and provide the best medical treatment to those wounded in the disaster. As founder and chairman of the board of MEBO International, Dr. Xu has also decided to allow MEBO to donate about 3.6 million RMB-worth of MEBO Wound Dressing for Accelerated Healing, a product proven very effective in treating various wounds, especially in emergency. Coupled with the expert aid provided by members of the CBAIM, these much-needed products will deliver the love and care of MEBO to people devastated by the disaster.
