Burns Regenerative Therapy and Technology Entered Yan’an, the Sacred Place of the Revolution

On Nov. 15th 2008, at the invitation of the Yan’an University Affiliated Hospital, Dr. Dongcai Hu, director of the Chinese Burn Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine (CBAIM) and head of Beijing MEBO Burns and Ulcers Institute, attended the seminar on burns regenerative medicine and therapy training in Yan’an hosted by Yan’an University and gave his academic lecture on recent advancements on human life regenerative science research and clinical application of MEBO’s regenerative therapy—BRT(burns regenerative therapy)with MEBT/MEBO(moist exposed burn therapy and moist exposed burn ointment) on burn wounds and skin ulcers. The participants included more than 200 medical staff from 16 hospitals in Yan’an region. The seminar started with the welcome address given by the president of the Yan’an University Affiliated Hospital. Then Dr. Hu, director of the CBAIM, Mr. Houan Xiao, chairman of the Shanxi sub-institute of CBAIM, Director Hongbin Xue from the Burns Department of Yan’an University Affiliated Hospital presented their reports  respectively. The seminar was held successfully.

After the seminar, Dr Hu, Mr. Wang the president and Director Xue had comprehensive communications on the divisions building and the development of the hospital. The president Wang expressed his sincere hope for Dr. Hu’s regular clinical guidance to the medical staff of the hospital and the advances of the application of BRT with MEBT/MEBO on burns will bring multiple economic and social benefits to the local people.

From Nov. 16th to 19th , Dr. Hu paid a second visit to the People’s Hospital of Baota District, The People’s Hospital of Ansai County, and the People’s Hospital of Zizhang County for clinical training. This visit was remarkably successful and highly appreciated.
