The Seminar on Clinical Training of Burns Regenerative Therapy and Technique was held in the People’s Hospital of Zhangjiajie City

At 2:00 pm Nov. 17 2008, the seminar on Clinical Training of Burns Regenerative Therapy (BRT) and Technique was held in the multi-functional academic hall of the People’s Hospital of Zhangjiajie City. The seminar was hosted by the deputy director Qin Qin. At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Chengqun Luo, deputy director of the Chinese Burns Association of the Integration of Traditional and Chinese Medicine (CBAIM) and director of  Hunan Sub-institute of the CBAIM, presented the academic lecture on clinical standard application of BRT with MEBT/MEBO (moist exposed burn therapy/moist exposed burn ointment) on burn wounds in situ. With large numbers of clinical data and comparison cases, Dr. Luo proved the scientificity, priority and practicability of the application of regenerative medicine in clinic. In the seminar, Dr. Dangjun Jin, director of the CBAIM gave two lectures on BRT with MEBT/MEBO on trauma wounds, skin ulcers, crush injuries and bedsores; the application of MEBO Dressing for Accelerating wound Healing in clinic. The participants included more than 230 clinicians from hospitals at different levels. With vivid clinical photos, Dr. Jin made a more detailed introduction of the multiple-disciplinary application of BRT with MEBT/MEBO, the standardization of the treatment protocols and the application of MEBO Dressing on wounds and ulcers during the “5.12 Quake”.
